@quakepapi Yes, it's quite awful. An estimated 15,000+ artifacts were looted, and when some of them were recovered, they were all nearly destroyed. It's very sad. Not to mention since the US invasion of Iraq, severe damage has been caused to ancient sites, including Nebuchadnezzar's complex. And, of course, the repatriation of the Ishtar Gate from Berlin has is causing quite a bit of controversy as well.
