badant123: number of the beast is the easiest song of tier 8 (atleast for me) on hard and expert u can usually keep a 200-500 note streak in the verses and choruses so practice those and get full star power use it on solo ****1***** and not solo2 as it is easier

raining blood: mosh 1: get the star power phrase from Drizzle 1 and the fast strumming bit to activate in the yellow on mosh 1, use 321 321. then save up 2 sp again before the Flood, and use when in high red and there are a lot of notes

For raining blood, save all your star power (should have 6 lights) and use it when the crazy part comes. It should keep you alive enough so it'll get you past the hard part.

the flood isnt hard. Mosh1 is probably hard for him. Save the star power for that. Also if best if u just do the last 3 notes in mosh 1. For one, go crazy with the 3 buttons, it should be enough for Solo A. Number of the beast is pretty easy, no tips there :E

on one you should problably wait for that really hard you know the solo A use star power but if you half to use your star power before that practice whatever part that is then you should be good. and on number of the beast do the same thing but on that song sometimes its a little faster than sum people think so try strumming faster just by a little bit. start on slower then try full speed 10X that sould be enough practice and do the entire song but if you think you can play before 10X do that (:

save your attacks to the victory solos and use them for exampel: do NOT use broken string and whammy at the same time cuz he'll "heal" at the same time so use them 1 by one. but use whammy and dubble notes at the same time cuz then he'll lose more on the ROCK-meter

There is a glitch on Xbox 360 at least which, turns all the bosses (Tom, Slash and Lou) into n00bs. They die at about 3-6 % into the song and you dont even have to use any attacks.

Lol, sorry man, but i really got no advice there. It still gets me pretty bad whenever I play him on EXPERT too.

I suggest practicing the part from 1:56-2:00 if you want practice doing zig-zag notes.

That also happens to be my favorite part of the Lou Battle.

Sorry for the really late reply.

Anyways, i suggest just saving up all your attacks you get at the beggining of the song. Then, when it comes to the intense part of the song where you just take turns attacking, start using one attack at a time whenever it goes to his turn to get an attack. After two or three attacks, he should die. And just keep practicing, sounds boring, but feels so good once you finally kick his ass.

Well the only hint i got is to practice Hammer Ons so that you only strum every few notes instead of every single note. Also, when hammering on, make sure that even if your going to frantically hit notes, make sure your only pressing down one button so maybe you will Hammer On the next note. That's why i strum frantically sometimes in this video.

Maybe it's impossible on EXPERT, but it's not that hard on HARD. Really, unless you are trying to beat it with Lefty Flip, then it's not impossible at all. Just keep practicing over and over and you'll get it. It took me about 10 tries untill i finally beat him, but barely with like 60% (lol).

I'm still not Pro at beating Lou on HARD since i can only get about 85%, but you will get it eventually, just keep trying!

No, it's only on HARD, not EXPERT. True a LOT of the song is the same as in EXPERT, but especially when getting the attacks you should notice the difference. But yes, this is only HARD mode.

- I do not know how to play real guitar. I had actually never even held a guitar on my hands before playing this game, i only got the game becuase everyone i knew was talking about it.

- When i started playing Guitar Hero III, i played the game as a normal "Righty". Over time, i thought i was getting good, but looked on YouTube and saw many players MUCH better than me.

A friend of mine beat him on hard the 3rd time he played, or rather, he came to the victory solo part. Then he died and had to start all over again... It took him half a month until he beat him again... :D That kind of sucked.

Well it's not really "beating" him if you can't "beat him".

But that's good he got to the solo part. I've never seen his solo myself, i always kill him fast about half way through the song when the meters in the middle. But i've seen his solo on YouTube videos, it'snot that impressive. I think Tom Morello's solo is harder.

And that's a long break to beat Lou considering he almost beat him on his 3rd try at Guitar Hero. No way could i have even lasted 10 seconds my first time playing.

No, you don't understand. He had already beat him (Now finish him was shown on the screen), and then he was supposed to play the final verse or something but he had too little rock meter and died.

Oh and he were just lucky and got all the attacks in the first parts of Johnny's solo. All fluke sort of. He skipped to Expert and sporadically played against Lou afterwards. Beat him just a few days ago.

Hope that cleared things up. I'm stuck on him on hard, so really! Good job!

I still haven't beat him on EXPERT becuase i get angry after losing to him about 3 or 4 times in a row. I'm working on 5 starring all EXPERT songs right now.

What's "tbh" mean?

And Cliffs of Dover is a really easy song on EXPERT. The hardest part is the intro, the rest is all the same, no tricky parts really.

Once you get the beat of the hammer-on and strum Chorus, you can pass the song. Just takes practice.
