@MrDbzlover22 "Clint Eastwood isn't a cowboy, he's a cowman"
While the term, "cowboy" was used in the Old West, a more accepted term used back then to describe men on horseback, who drove cattle herds was, "drover". Frankly, in the movie, Clint Eastwood is not driving cattle. In the Old West, his type would have been refered to as a "vagabond", or a, possibly, a "shootist".
Really 2 dislikes? you know my old man always said there is always an asshole, if its just you and one other guy working there is an asshole. And if you can't find that asshole then its you.So I know it ain't me and I bet I can name the other two.
im never gunna forget sitting on the floor when i was 6 with my dad on sunday morning. this song came on. i looked up at the screen to see the camera pan down as rain was beating down on clint eastwood as he lit his cigarette. that was the moment i knew i wanted to make movies. crazy how a song brings that all back. ha
@44fastgun: As towns became more settled there was a sort of gun control. A lot of times they had to be handed over to the sheriff and were given back when you left. They wanted to avoid cowboys getting drunk while armed. A lot died that way.
By the way, almost 20% of the cowboys were black. That's a fact. But you would never see a black person in a John Wayne movie since he didn't think highly of them.
Hello all I have a question,what Clint Eastwood movie was it were he had to blow up the bridge,before his friend the army Captain died,after Clint blew up the bridge the captain past away,been bugging me which movie that was LOL
@838SANDMAN The scene your refering to is in The Good the Bad and the Ugly. Google "The Good The bad and the ugly bridge scene" It's one of the top results if you want to watch it.
ive never really liked all the western cowboy moves because there always so biased. The Cowboys always win you never see the native Americans win, and all the actors who mostly played in cowboy moves tend to be conservatives. Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Gene Hackman, Kirt Douglas, Kurt Russell so on.
@DDTphoenix Speaking of bias, actors in most of these movies didn't play cowboy roles. Most Eastwood roles were "drifting bounty hunter", Wayne had many lawman and drifter parts. Russel's most famous Western was a lawman role. I can't remember Hackman ever being a cowboy in his westerns.
Wouldn't make sense for liberals to play in westerns. some idiot who thinks they could ride into an 1870's Texas town and ban guns, redistribute their money, and call everyone racists would just get shot.
@44fastgun HAHAHAHAHAHA That is some real shit. Maaaaaan it's way to easy to live in America now. And when it gets easy the weak proliferate at an astonishing rate.
This was my favorite of the Dollars Trilogy... The first one was great but it didnt have as many badass scenes in it as this one. The good the bad and the ugly was awesome as well but it suffered from the same things as the first one, plus Tuco was a bit annoying at times with all his dry humor. For a Few Dollars More was the perfect Blend of Clint Eastwood gun duals and showdowns and Lee Van Cleef's excellent performence (especially at the end). This has to go down as one of my favorite movies.
Agreed but I would want differing story lines based on the original premiss. Not many production studios would spend the time on developing the story.

Not true. There are always movies coming out that are great. You're only thinking of the crappy Hollywood movies that get the most attention because they're constructed that way. Smaller ones, including some Hollywood productions, are just as good, if not better, than the "good old days".
