Is that fan design comfortable for you? I didn't like them too much but that might be because I am used to the straight spoke design instead. I like what you do with them though got some good tricks. :]
I love them! They revolutionized the way I spin, primarily because of the flat grip and light weight. Just don't drop them too much or the spokes bend and eventually snap.
I haven't had to replace mine yet, but I think you just remove the metal bit that's holding the wick in place (using wire cutters?), slip off the wick, replace with a new wick, and put the metal bit back on (the new wicks come with the hardware to replace them). I believe you can also send them back to TC, and they'll rewick them for you. I'd shoot them an email and ask - they're very quick to respond.
Those are the Khaos fire fans from Trick Concepts, and I absolutely adore them. Doing stalls in any plane and any position is much easier because of the grip, and the light weight is refreshing. And they just look so damn gorgeous! I got them a couple of months ago and am still getting used to them, but they've enabled a quantum leap in my technique and I recommend them highly. They are a bit fragile, though, so keep that in mind when learning tosses.
Awesome moves! It's obvious you've practiced ~ loved the toss! Do tell me whose fans you used as my 5-wick (each) ones from HoP are so heavy that swift moves such as you used are limited ... and I ain't weak ;-) I want to expand my moves ... thanks!
Love it!!!!!

Where did you find your fire fans? I'm shopping for some new ones, and I like the design of these.

@huriyyah17 The fans are from Trick Concepts. Here I'm using the lightweight Khaos fans.

Does anyone out there know ,, how to change the kevlar wicks for the fire fans?? I really need to change mine and im not sure how.
aneesall 3 years ago
If they are Trick concepts I believe you can just unscrew the old ones and replace. Are the hybrid wicks or kevlar tape?
fairiefyre 3 years ago
they are kevlar,, they came already attach, I have no idea how to remove,, and im sure they need to be replaced by now,
