Man that shit is cool as hell, I just picked up a Gold System and a REi modded AES, I also picked up a converter for MVS carts (I'm collecting a mixture of AES and MVS). So far I picked up a Mark of the Wolves complete kit, Blazing Star, and Metal Slug 3 with Shockboxes and inserts. My initial plan was a consolized Neo Geo but from a collectors standpoint I just had to see the original geo sitting in front of my screen. I still want the Supergun though.
holy crap ! that is the most awsome sound I have ever heard from any cartridge based system ! The music and sound is so clear ! I have never seen this kind of Neo Geo system eighther
Most of It, I had a little help cutting out all the holes and putting it in place. I have built 2 now. 1 scart (euro) and another I sent to the U.S. which has a encoder inside so you can use s-video/composite
You can build a supergun from as little as £80 but a cmvs all enclosed costs around £200 (scart) £250+ (s-video/composite) If you were to build one yourself.
That a pretty sweet device you built there dude, I think I'd have put some Neo Geo AES Joystick ports for a bit more comfort (and two player), But tis most impressive.
Wow dude, thats awesome. Do you have "Garou: Mark of the Wolves"? It's one of the most graphically inpressive games on the Neo Geo, rivaled by the Last Blade 2.
ah man I want
