Women are to respect their bodies, which includes not dressing trashy. It is not solely a Muslim view. God called His people to honor and respect each other, and that includes women dressing modestly. Now in that tribe, if you are a good provider, your wife has plenty of stored food carried around. They looked at the missionaries wife, and some of the men came and discretely told the missionary that he had better start feeding his wife better, because he was a terrible witness to the community! :-)

Sexual impurity is bad in this country. Between sexual imorality, STD's, AIDS, teen pregancy, abortion, it's pretty bad. And I all goes back to the way we dress. It pays to dress modest. You could still look nice because when one wears clothes you can see the contour of their body better.

I do :) there is also nothing wrong with a little makeup either, but looking like a 'painted lady' is not ok with God... I myself have struggled with not looking too sloppy- for a while I just didn't care and was looking too casual I guess-it is hard these days to find decent nice clothes, because alot of the garments honestly look like you are trying to advertise! take care :)

It is a wonderful video- I agree with it...I pretty much stopped wearing 'war paint' several years ago- I feel liberated in a way-I think it is a type of bondage...but I didn't even wear it all the time then... Beautiful video. I have two daughters who I've taught not to dress provacatively (I know that's got to be spelled wrong..LOL!) I wish other parents would teach their daughters that! Well, how old are you? If you live in your father's house and he thinks you shouldn't wear it, then don't. You have to obey your father. My oldest daughter does wear make up but not a lot. Just a touch and when I wear it, which is seldom, I wear just a touch. Too much makes you look trampy.

What a beautiful, meaningful song and how precious is a woman who fears the Lord. You did a magnificent job of putting this video together. I pray that all of the women that see this will know that this is what God wants for their lives. How easy it is to get caught up in the things of this world that are displeasing to our Heavenly Father. If only the churches would make a stand against immodesty; if only Christian women would look to God's word instead of today's culture. Blessings to you
