  • test ride? more like test sit.

  • Big piece of yellow crap

  • I owned this bike (250r) for 3 weeks in Australia.. Sold it BACK to dealer at a loss coz it was so shit...

    1. Top speed @ sea level was 109kph (i weigh 63kg)

    2. Fuel tap constantly broke causing it to run rich and stall

    3. Digital tacho needed replacement as water managed to ruin it?

    4. Nearly crashed on left turns due to side stand scraping

    5. MADE IN CHINA

    6. Brittle chassis, small rocks etc... which hits the bike will definately leave permanent marks

    7. Do i need 2 say more ?

  • @korefighter

BAHAHAHAA i know the feeling, i am also in Australia. I have a Megelli 250, first bike, I have done 750km's on it and have had NOTHING but problems!!!i should have bought a second hand bike, would have been much funner learning on, considering it would be spedning alot more time on the road with me then at the mechanics!

The other day the gear leaver came off while i wanted to change down gears going into a roundabout in peak hour traffic.

Thank god its still under warranty.

  • @korefighter your full of shit. If you had owned the bike only for 3 weeks and encountered such difficulty surely you were covered by warranty? Would you not have given it a test run before buying to see its speed? if your buying this bike you must be either an 80 year old or more then likely a learner and thus speed shouldn't bother you as your set to a learner limit. Made in china - alot of bikes/cars are made in china, look it up. Ducati or Megelli, any fairing will damage from rocks

  • @life2lifele55 - thats great you encountered no difficulties.. you are the MINORITY. In the end, for Australian roads the bike is horrible. Don't compare Ducati quality standards to Megelli, a random brand made in china still holds "the made in china" name.

The bike is bad quality plain and simple, there ONLY good thing is the looks.

  • @korefighter Read my comment again carefully. Ducati was only mentioned to point out that regardless of what bike you ride, loose road clippings will damage it

Im not a Megelli fan boy whatsoever, i have never even ridden one but your criticism of the vehicle is dam right puzzling - especially when the cons you listed against it could have been remedied by redeeming its warranty, which surely was valid for longer then 3 weeks... and with a simple test ride prior to purchase to see its top speed!

  • ya maklum aja..mesinnya emang 250..tp yg bikin bukan jerman atau inggris..mesinnya dibikin di asia klo ga salah antara taiwan ma cina.jd minerva bli model doang...kmaren sempet ke dealer langsung tp urung beli..soalnya pas masukin kunci kontak yg nempel di tangki nya aja ga mulus..aga susah gitu heheh trus suaranya kok kyk ga bertenaga..hehehe tp yg gila dealer nya ngasih garansi 3 thn! masalahnya Minervanya masih ada ga ya 3 hn kedepan?

  • If i get one im gonna try and put a Ninja 250cc engine in it cuz this one has no bhp!!!

  • yea id like to do that aswell.. have the money to get one (im 17 going for learners next year in Aus) and im just scared of it not being able to pull me up a big hill... can you let me know if you find anything out about putting in a new engine. thanks

  • 250cc S model video ?

  • Are these being released in the uk? because i cant seem to find any bike shops that sell them?

  • it will going to sell in the future first they need to test it for some time ...then put it on the market

  • About the design,...it's absolutely stunning, but every company can buy design from any designer if they want. For example, many factory are using the same designer, such as CAGIVA and DUCATI, they both use Verlichi design for their frameworks.

  • There's still a big probability that Megelli is using different engine for Indonesia...You can look at the price for example. It's too cheap for a genuine German engine. Earlier before its launch in Indonesia, many people from Australia said that the engine's detail looks so similar to a chinese motorbike brand name "YAMOTO" which has been around there for some years. If you have the common australian motorbike magazine, you'd see that for yourself.

gw sih blum punya, yg gw tau, mesin megelli luar beda dgn indo, indo pake mesin Sach german, luar pake apa gw jg ga tau...

    andai gue punya..... hehehe

  • i never tried 125 megelli, but like i said above, higher cc of course have better acceleration, and top speed..

  • Let me say only this you said that on the tested machine the top speed was 124 km/h ,and on machine 125 ccm top speed wthout any upgrade top speed is 132 km/h. I don't see the logic in 250 ccm top speed.

  • u r indonesian right?

biar gampang ngomong nya pake bhs indo aja yah..

mau nanya nih, kan gue liat di yutub klo megelli 125R di eropa top speed nya bisa ampe 134KPJ. tapi pas kmaren gue nanya ke seller di minerva PRJ, katanya top speed megelli 250R pas di coba di trek lurus sentul cuma 135KPJ.. kan gue krg percaya, gue nanya lagi ke seller yg lain.. tp jawaban nya tetep sama klo top speed nya 250R itu cuma 135KPJ. aneh ya?

  • so you are trying to say there isn't difference in max speed between this two models. Acceleration of 125 megelli with kit stage 2 is much better so in comparement with that tuned model and model 250 ccm there isn' t any difference.

  • oh any chance for a link to a place where i can get engine upgrades for the megelli 125 (sport version)

  • hey too,,,,

im in indonesia, where are u? so migelli at indonesia are different machine, although same design which is megelli body design. but machine indonesia using Sach from germany, but factory at thailand, and assembly at indonesia... hahhaha joint 3 country.. so far for standart i test ride at 124km/h, of course higher cc, higher acceleration. i cannot make an another video, coz i just have this.. and wait i buy it :D

  • top speed of megelli 250 ccm is 128 km/h and has 16.2 HP water cooled. Difference is that Minerva sach megelli 250 ccm machine is - max speed ** km/h but 20.5 HP and Air Cooled with Advanced Balancer Shaft

and engine 125 ccm with tuning kit 2 becomes 180 ccm 18.6 HP water cooled engine ...

  • hey !

    just a couple of questions

    max speed ?

difference in acceleration between 250cc and 125, is it big or not ?

can you make a video of 250S ?
