Id give you guys tips on RTTS:

For a batter, catcher, 1st baseman, and right field are the most powerful hitters

dont switch hit, yet, until you have the points to get equal contact and power on both sides, get a hitting streak, then stop at 60 games, then go get another hitting streak then stop it again, and don't waste your points, only add stats in the beginning of the season, i have a first baseman batting switch, batting .407, 231 home runs, 567 rbis, and im only half way done my 5th season

Hey Boondock, I have been considering buying the PS3 along with MLB '09, but most reviews that I've read say that its impossible to hit, lots of errors and the pitching meter just isn't accurate. Do you find this to be tru? The game looks incredible, but I don't want to buy a lemon if '09 is full of bugs. What do you think?

Well it is an all around hard sports game. Also the pace is only a little faster than real baseball (Which isnt bad if you into the game). The hitting is hard, and at first even on easy you wont get many runs, or even on base. The pitching meter I really like. If your pitcher starts to give up hits then his meter will be less acurate (Like hes losing confodince) and if he starts throwing strikes or getting double plays he gets better (Vise Versa). IM RUNNING OUT OF ROOM I'LL CONTINUE ON.

But its realistic in the fact that you pitcher obviously get less acurate as the game goes on. It takes alot of practice to get the hitting down, and the pitching you will pick up really quick. The baserunning is also something you will have to get used to. All in all the game is good, so far the best Baseball game I have even played is 09 The Show, but if its what is selling you on the PS3, in my opinion and thats just because im a baseball fan its worth it. But if you can try it out somewhere.
