a problem i had was that i got attacked from the back by a random stranger that was stalking me and my family walking down the street. he kicked me in the back and punched me in the teeth.. i couldnt do a thing, i ended up weak on the ground.. he was strong, and well i couldnt do a thing since all of that happend in 1 second while he was behind me, so he stole $400 pesos ($40 dollars) off us, this was at night so i suggest everyone to watch their backs walking alone or with your family at night

Anybody who knows a little bit about (nowadays)pro combat sports knows Bruce would hardly stand a chance against say... jiu jitsu practitioners, wrestlers or even proffesional boxers/thai boxers. I'm not for or against him, but you can't put him in the same ring as a guy who makes a living by kicking(literally lol) the shit out of others...they get so much more sparring practice!

i totally agree with that street fighting is alot different from mma,boxing whatever. people don't realize that a triangle choke dosnt work when i can bite you on the leg or grab your nuts and twist them of or stick my fingers in your eyes and pull them out, thats the difference. but the thing about bruce lee......i think you have an over active emagination due to his films. i dont denigh that he was alot tougher then your average person but come on.

Bruce Lee was the first to promote Martial arts in America..which is y he is still honured till this date. But after reading a couple of interviews from his books and Blackbelt Mag...he's more than legit. Legends still look up to him..and they still respect him.

@infrazoom You must have never been in real burtel street fight. I been in a lot of street fights and seen alot i seen a guy bite someone in a street figh it works. A guy had another guy in a head lock,lol he rip a chunk out his flesh. Another time a guy went for a doube leg take down on another guy he sprawled grab the guy's ear and rip it off bug me out. MMA is good but Bas right there in his video is telling you anything could happen and you gotta be ready to do anything to win.
Triangle chokes can still work in those situations... they might not work, but might doesn't mean won't... You're right in that cheap shots CAN get you out of chokes and stuff, but it shouldn't be your fall back. Someone manages to get you in a rear naked choke, it's tight, he's got you wrapped up, eyes closed, forearm under your chin... you're not gonna be able to bite him or eye gouge him seriously enough before you go to sleep. It's always important to learn submission defense.

All of these idiots saying Bruce Lee never fought are some of the stupidest people on the planet. Can you tell me if I am a good fighter, no. There could be a nameless street fighter who could whoop anyone and is the greatest fighter of all time. You can say that Bruce is unprooven because there is no real footage of an actual ring or street fight but you can't say there isn't. That man could have had 100s of fights and no loses just like i, you, or anyone else could.
He could and you would never no. Just because footage dowsn't exist doesn't mean it isn't true. Let me ask a question, if Bas never stepped in the ring and continued street fighting would he still be as good. Lets say he went into acting and doing demos. All he would have done is street fighting and there would be no footage of it only his word. So my point is just because Bruce has no footage that doesn't mean he had no fights. It just means he is unprooven as a legitament fighter.
I"m not into the whole fighting scene (not street fighting), but I'd love to have some personal lessons from anyone who knows even half the stuff Bas knows. Would be an amazing experience to get to practice some of these moves and really know them and how they work. Too bad I can't just grab one of my buddies and try it on them:-p. That would be silly.

Bas is great not only because of his vast fight experience, but he just seems like a really nice guy, and he's funny as hell. One of the good guys out there, who also has massive skills. Glad he's on OUR side! A guy like that could easily be a bully himself. But he seems like the guy who would break a bullies arm just to teach him a lesson. I respect that. I might get the DVD now.
ive watched all of these an i knew everysingle thing he talked about prior to watching,,,the only thing i cant defend that i was trying to learn is what to do if sum1 much bigger gets a full mount with you on your back i almost lost my last street fight because i didnt kno what to do fortunatly for me my opponent was really out of shape and by the time i was caght in this bad spot he was too tired to do anything about it if you kno anything to counter this pleeze letme kno!

Stop smoking crack and proclaiming that he is good based off of Magic. This argument has gone on long enough and has turned ludicrous. Bruce Lee isn't the greatest but he is definitely one of the best. He was a martial arts genius whose technique proved to be quite effective. Of course he fought so take some time from saying idiotic remarks and actually do some fact finding. Idiot.

All of these idiots saying Bruce Lee never fought are some of the stupidest people on the planet. Can you tell me if I am a good fighter, no. There could be a nameless street fighter who could whoop anyone and is the greatest fighter of all time. You can say that Bruce is unprooven because there is no real footage of an actual ring or street fight but you can't say there isn't. That man could have had 100s of fights and no loses just like i, you, or anyone else could.

He could and you would never no. Just because footage dowsn't exist doesn't mean it isn't true. Let me ask a question, if Bas never stepped in the ring and continued street fighting would he still be as good. Lets say he went into acting and doing demos. All he would have done is street fighting and there would be no footage of it only his word. So my point is just because Bruce has no footage that doesn't mean he had no fights. It just means he is unprooven as a legitament fighter.

I"m not into the whole fighting scene (not street fighting), but I'd love to have some personal lessons from anyone who knows even half the stuff Bas knows. Would be an amazing experience to get to practice some of these moves and really know them and how they work. Too bad I can't just grab one of my buddies and try it on them:-p. That would be silly.

not all people have the same reaction to a groin shot, some people have testicles that asend very easily and will throw up from 1 kick and be out of a fight, other people can take a nut shot like it just doesnt phase them, i have a friend that has that unique talent and for 200$ or more he will allow you to kick him in the nuts, its kind of hard to watch but he says it doesnt really hurt, we just all make jokes like he wont ever have kids

Bas is great not only because of his vast fight experience, but he just seems like a really nice guy, and he's funny as hell. One of the good guys out there, who also has massive skills. Glad he's on OUR side! A guy like that could easily be a bully himself. But he seems like the guy who would break a bullies arm just to teach him a lesson. I respect that. I might get the DVD now.

ive watched all of these an i knew everysingle thing he talked about prior to watching,,,the only thing i cant defend that i was trying to learn is what to do if sum1 much bigger gets a full mount with you on your back i almost lost my last street fight because i didnt kno what to do fortunatly for me my opponent was really out of shape and by the time i was caght in this bad spot he was too tired to do anything about it if you kno anything to counter this pleeze letme kno!
