I know what you mean, about the genuine feeling missing from cover songs. I think many people are too worried about hitting every note right on the head and sounding squeaky clean, like they're gonna break the song if they rough it up a bit. Maybe it's a slight hangover symptom from American Idol judges or something...But I thank you for your compliment and am glad I could massage your ear drums.
