i run i5 2500k and hd 6970 and can play on ultra settings with full aa/af ;)

@g45uk2 I have installed now the 11.9 with the CAP4, but still not working. with the 11.11 CAP2 same problem, Afterburner Says that GPU:1 is 0% and GPU:2 99%  Usage, so I think it maybe the game. Crysis, Crysis Warhead and Crysis 2 Works Perfectly also the BFBC2 is using all the GPU's. ok maybe because the game is not original ? could be that the problem ? I mean, is Cracked u know hehehe Sorry.

@24691355 yes, you'd be better off upgrading your platform as well as your GPUs, go for an i5 2500K, they're not too bank breaking nowadays

I play High Setting on my 6950 unlocked, about to grab another. for X-Fire. Are your cards at stock speeds? (880mhz core). I wouldn't want fps to dip under 60FPS on Ultra. The 6950(6970's) TIM will be replaced with Antec Formula 7 and overclocked to 950-1Ghz Core. Do you think that would be enough? @ohsnapTIMOTHY no ive overclocked them, but to be honest i think you'll be fine with another 6950, they're not too far apart performance wise

yeah i have pretty much the same setup and did a fraps benchmark.. got 81fps average, 56 min and 125 max... pretty damn happy with performance. What drivers are you using?

so a 6970 cfx in ultra will never dip below 60 fps? I plan on getting a 2nd 6970 very soon. I have a Phenom II x4 970 4.0GHz....will that bottleneck a cfx?

@100tradio im really not sure whether or not it will bottleneck it for you, if it does you could always buy a bulldozer chip, but yeah the lowest ive seen it drop is 60, it usually stays in the 80-90 FPS region, very happy with it.

@100tradio I have 2 6970 aswel.. mine dipped below 60 once in an entire 2-3 hours of play and hit 55 only... it was generally a 75 fps + experience so it runs very nicely.
