I saw the show on tour today, and it was so good ans funny, and I have never even seen the film. I cant imagine what it would have been like to see the OBC. That cast is amazing, and I was so excited that I came back from seeing the show, sang the entire cast album, and now just watched the whole show again on YouTube. I am hooked!

@WWEQAF The Original Broadway Cast was amazing. My mother and I went and that was one of the best shows I have ever seen. I rate it on the same level as Phantom of the Opera and The Lion King.

@Elitist20 they didn't leave it out...It's a reprise.

The full version come's earlier in Act II this bit at the end is simply a shorter reprise. Reprise's don't have to be the full length of orginal songs (and usually/with a few exceptions only aren't) so thos verses you quoted aren't left out...Their just not in the repeat of the song (whcih is part of the script) it's like that on the CD as well.
