  • Whats with the rapper/chav kids in front? Kind of at the wrong, gig, dont you think?

  • They fucking killed this song at Coachella, way better than this version

  • best set at Roo this year

  • live performances vary. Love this song. But you should have heard them at THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL! imagine this jacked up another 10 times.

  • @JimOrrCalifornia agreed! that show was amazing!

  • der text passt perfekt ;)

  • is this karaoke? . he is shit.

  • @DanEboyw well im pretty sure this was near the end of the show

and near the end of a show you get winded and it gets hard to breathe

id love to hear you try this

look at him on jools holland

  • i love this shit! ziiiiieke!

  • "love is a murderer...but if she calls you tonight, everything will be alright." that happened to me on the other night.

  • מעולה

  • Great track! Heard it for the first time yesterday at Rock en Seine festival, hooked now :-)

  • This is the time the very best time. So give me a line and take me hoooome!

  • fuck james if i wanna throw a glowstick at his bitch ass while im high then i will

  • ia this the same bonnaroo that aziz ansari preformed at? im just wondering

  • LOL! at 4:28 - you are no Kraftwerk!

I feel sorry for the "electronic" music of today - how can you compete with Kraftwerk when they have already done everything... better and first??? The closet thing we have to the genii of Kraftwerk or Vince Clarke is Jason Amm/Solvent.

  • what is it with his t-shirt? lol

  • Fakk me ...i love this song...

  • since everyones on the topic of glowstick throwing, was anyone at B.O.B's set? it was like...a rainfall of glowsticks, one of my better memories of the whole weekend.

  • @JCM1325 haha thats awesome! yeah the flaming lips blew my mind too! that was my niight that i was all "energized" too. me and my buddie ate some shrooms earlier in the day and after b.o.b. we walked to whichever tent or area had the raves going on. we are not familiar with the rave scene at all...but we had so much fun that night haha..ah. i love talking bonnaroo, are you going back next year?

  • Comment removed

  • @JCM1325 hahah right on! yeah this was my first bonnaroo as well, and i will most definitely be back for next year's anniversary. A week long bonnaroo would be the most insane thing i would ever experience.

  • @JCM1325 hahaha. yeah man i hear you on the whole people selling fake shit. i ran into a bunch of people talking about how they got ripped...i got lucky and found a guy in my campsite who sold shrooms and some sid, and they were both legit. he ended up leaving his stuff out one night and someone stole 100 hits from him. i felt real bad haha. but yeah, i was trying to find molly down there saturday and sunday but i surprisingly had no luck. still the best time of my whole entire life though.

  • @JCM1325 Dude, you should probably not put all that out there on some shit like this. Don't ruin it for the rest of us because you are just finding out

  • hey look i bring my laser pointer to shows and shine them on stage, hey look its me! o yeahim so cool!

  • This show was sick. It started at like 3 am or some shit like that. I rolled over after watching bassnectar and Kid Cudi so I didn't get a good spot in the crowd but it still kicked ass. I saw them at Virgin Festival a couple years back as well and I must say I love their live performances.

  • @bood420. Thats stupid. dude have you ever been at bonnaroo? EVERYONE was throwing glow sticks. Other bands used it to get the crowd into the show, and it was crazy. I'm suprised there's so many people talking about this, it really wasn't that big of a deal. Also.. Murphy here was trippin'. As the show went on he was more and more out of it, I think shrooms or lucy ;)

  • Yeah, it's obvious his voice is pretty strained. He must have worn it out. All I can say, though, is that he needs to build endurance. I once went to a concert with a guy who had to sing with unattended broken ribs, and he never once fucked up.

Let's see these guys get that good! I want to go see them live.

  • yeah i was there too, and he mentioned the glowsticks through most of the show actually. you can call him a hipster douche, which he may or may not be, but that was a fantastic, loud, ballin show where everyone was having an awesome time. just because the guy had a semi-shitty attitude you can't let that ruin the music.

  • For everyone saying OH FUCKING SHIT THIS SUCKS. I have to say as someone who was there...he played a lot of more "yelly" songs before this one ex: pow pow, daft punk is playing at my house ect. His voice was pretty fucked. don't let this video of them judge how they perform live or how they performed at bonnaroo, then again i was drawing birds in the sand tripping during this set...so what do i know

  • I'm still kicking myself in the ass for missing this set. I was passed out at camp.

  • Wow, this sounds bad live... I dig the slbum version of the song but maybe if you're fucked up enough it starts sounding better? Yeah and fu** glow sticks!

  • I was an LCD Fan before I came to this show. After hearing "James" whine over and over and over again about glowsticks I started realizing why people hate hipsters. We paid good money to see this d-bag, i dont really care if he got hit with some glowsticks, get over it, its 3 am at Bonnaroo.

It may have helped if they they would have played more than 2 good songs and not stopped after an hour and a half, as well.

  • @cwdeju I don't remember James whining "over and over" I remember him saying something once, you're the one who appears to be whining and upset. Just because you buy a ticket to a show doesn't mean you can just disrespect the artist, how can you feel so entitled? And also every bonnaroo artist plays for an hour and a half if they're not a headliner idiot you should at least know what you're talking about before you talk shit about someone because they didn't please you, you're the 'hipster' snob

  • @Saturdaynght88 - wrong - def. said something more than once and dont try to cover for their lackluster show by saying everyone only plays 90 minutes. Did I miss the announcement that said Disco Biscuits and DeadMau5 were headliners? They werent and they both rocked for well over two hours, into the morning.

Not to mention every DJ at the Lunar Stage managed to squeezed out more than an hour an a half with people throwing shit and waving inflatables in their faces. Did they complain, no.

  • @cwdeju Every artist in their contract who isn't a headliner has a clause saying that they can't play over their time, the electronic acts constantly do it to the dismay of backstage people, and who could forget when pearl jam played an extra hour and a half and threw off all the roadie's for kanyes set. There's still no excuse for throwing shit at an artist, it's definitely not included in the price of the ticket to be rude towards the artist, and it means more security for the rest of us

  • Is that the way his vocals normally sound?

  • Comment removed

  • wtf is this shit? im sorry but this has to be the worst shit ever. and dont reply saying, well then why are you listening to it? well obviously because i wanted to see what all the hype was about this crap.

  • @GrungeVegan93 you're dumb and you have shitty taste in music

  • griiiiiiiiieattttt

  • awesome

  • @incognitojp - if i can recall correctly, james said in a slurred voice. "normally i don't like it when people throw shit at me, but for some reason at this moment, i kind of like it." then again, it was 3:00am and i could have been hearing things.

i'd also have to say that this song was the low point of the show. any other recording would have done. especially "losing my edge."

  • He has an amazing live voice!

  • i wanna see pow pow!

  • this show was amazing!!!!!!!

  • do people realy think this fruit can sing?:Swtf hes shit

  • I had such a good time at this show. I just wish the jackasses that were throwing the glow sticks on stage could have restrained themselves. It was clearly pissing James off.

  • @incognitojp

i was standing right by the jackass doing that. He kept pushing me too. i should have fucked him up, but at that point he'd only thrown one thing up there. then he pushed further front and go away from me.

  • @incognitojp They should have thrown tomatoes instead of chem lights. This guy sucks! I can sing better than that, and I suck when it comes to singing.

  • @incognitojp hey man, glowstick wars are an integral part of the festival experience. Bonnaroo is so mainstream now that I guess that is lost on some people. Try going to a real festival.

  • @SpassMacher2000~ you just have to love "festival snob". Glow-stick wars are fucking stupid, especially under a tent stage. It's even more ridiculous when people throw them on stage. I guess I'm "mainstream" because I want to enjoy a bad ass band like LCD Soundsystem, have a good time, and don't want morons to throw glow-sticks on stage at the performers. Dude, that's fucking mainstream.

  • enuf vampire....you are an endless transfusion

  • wish they recorded dance yrself clean or pow pow instead.. but beggars cant be choosers or whatever.

  • to bad they didn't play home... sick concert tho...

  • HAHA! Deuling Banjos!

  • I loved this video, thanks!

  • great great stuff

  • Huh. Not particularly difficult drumming, but that guy did it flawlessly, and it went with the music so well.

  • Huh. Not particularly difficult drumming, but that guy did it flawlessly, and it went with the music so well.

  • Stellar performance, I keep watching it, it's so good. :D

  • i was really impressed with this band when it was streaming last night...first time hearing this and would really like to experience this in person

  • Are people in TN ready for this kind of music? This reminds me of the Talking Heads somewhat.

  • @HeadNtheClouds no we're not ready for it.

we just play Dueling Banjos on repeat on our iPods.

  • @HeadNtheClouds Ha, no. I'm barefoot living on a farm and wash my clothes in the creek. This is actually a computer from my aunt's house in the big city. Son... I listen to the craziest music. This is kinda nothing compared to what I listen to. Think before you make a sweeping generalization.

  • @HeadNtheClouds Only like 10% of people there are probably even from TN in the first place.

We drove up from Atlanta behind tons of cars from Florida and the guys camped out next to use were from Canada on one side and Jersey on the other.
