4.0 will work on any wii version 4.0 and up. Its sorta like 4.x.

follow the steps below

1.do what they did on that video. stop at 2:00

(ONLY download the NUS from this video description or it wont work)

2.go to 0000000100000002 folder

3.put your 00000001.app to your desktop

4.rename 00000001.app to 0000007b.app. You good to go

5.come back here and try again

BTW, i got now, on pc where the MyMenu is working, but after it started it has been 30min!! Its usually that long that it takes? Because this is my Custom Sasuke Theme so i dont know if its because of that, that its taking so much time.

Is there any other way to make a CSM file without the MyMenu? I use ThemeMii to convert from Mym to CSM, but if i need the MyMenu(That always gives me prbolems) for taking the csm file from the start.. and fuse it with the mym file, it didnt work either. Im i doing something wrong? Is there any other way to do it without MyMenu? Its because im using windows 7? I can send it to someone that the mymenu works fine with, so he/she can do it for me? Please help!

@nintendofreak851 Yes, if you have the 0000007b.app and a theme that is proven to work on 4.1. Make sure the .app is the same region as your wii.

If it says FATAL ERROR try using 7zip to compress it wasn't working with winrar for me but works fine with 7zip

It doesn't work on my wii =/ (LU65 4.1U) It's sta a black screen after the healt alert. (It's Bricked) So the only way was go back to the original theme. (It was the first time that i bricked it =O, i hope it was the last xD this was simple)

@Dtempist when u add it to archive on winrar, click on the name and put mym instead of zip and then hit ok and when it makes that file it will appear as an mym file.

Hi, I've a small problem with making a .csm...

I finally get to make them, but those sizes are too big if you ask me. The normal ones are like 7 MB or something, while mine comes out like 14 MB !

When I apply it as Theme, after rebooting, I'll get a frozen screen (instead of black, it's pink and green, like WTF)...

What am I doing wrong?? =\

It's not that problem. It's the Theme itself, I dunno how ppl make those Themes well, I never have seen a Tutorial from How To MAKE Your Own Wii Theme. :')

Well, when I reinstalled the Homebrew Channel thanks to Nintendo, I installed Bootmii afterwards. ;D

Well, you can.

You CAN use 4.0 and 4.1 themes on 4.2 Wii's, you need to have the 4.2 app for your region Wii...

You'll need for a 4.2E Wii the 0000008a.app ... I have the good one, the way I converted was dumb, while I found a good one on the Internet later. :)

I have the Matrix Theme from 4.1E now on my 4.2E Wii.

depending on the version your using check the folder you extracted it to or my documents for a system menu x.xx folder.....

if ur using windows 7

click start and then ur username and u'll find it

@WiiLee007 after having that error, I suposed that images won't be correct.. so I've compressed the original files fromo template4.0 folder, and this either works.. I know the problem is the mym... I'm a linux user and tried with WinRar on wine and with Gzip.. what solution do you propose?
