  • She's graceful... and I know she can do more.. :) She's having a hard time landing. She'll improve! :D

  • @anubethc45 she did great on 2009. i wonder why she is not the representative of Filipine this year. i am watching ISU World Skating Championship 2011 and glad our country won. ANDO MIKI of Japan.

Filipine delegatte was Mericen Venzon. I dont like her. Gracele Tan is better than her.

  • shes a coach @ my rink! shes awesome!

  • SO PROUD OF HER even though she fell down 3 times she also landed 3 times succesfully.. COOL ! I'm a Filipina & also a figure skater...

  • i think her nerves got into her, and failed to recover after that. after all, she was in a lot of pressure.

  • I am Filipino, though half Chinese. No I am no world contender, I started skating at 25 but if given the chance we could do good. There may be many gay Filipino boys but that doesn't translate to gracefulness on ice.

  • are there any filipino guy skaters out there? i wonder how they fair in the world stage. there are so many gay filipino boys out there i wonder where they are

  • ... did not know coutries like phillipines would have a skater... this country doesn't have winter...

  • "Reflection" was a song by Ms. Lea Salonga.

  • Good She could skate that good.. Some people may say she's not that good but for me it's fine... Come to think about this guys, Philippines is a tropical country, only rain and sun comes, no snow, and only in the mall we can see skating courts.. Gracielle has her passion on ice skating that's why she represented the Philippines. Gold medal is not that important for her, what's important for her is to show everyone that Philippines has the potential.. Good Job Gracielle!

  • but she's fil-am....and is from L.A...... where rachel flatt and caroline zhang are from.....hmmmmm....

  • @jonahcute04 : SO TRUe! I agree with you! Im also a figure skater just like Gracielle . So i can totally relate to what you are saying :)) WO THUMBS UP to you and to Gracielle ! :)

  • i am going to watch the world championships at staples center march 22-29, 2009.

    lets meet up! message me!

    yey philippines!

  • what ashame. if only filipinos took more seriously sports they could probably be good at...

  • If only we have more rinks here in the Philippines...

  • @toughtop yea...last time we only had like 3 rinks, and now only 2 rinks...hai..

  • @tsukashi17 Haha... That's too bad considering many Filipino athletes really do excel if given enough resources. Anyway, do u skate at the SM MOA rink too?

  • @toughtop yeah... umm sometimes i do, 'cause my home rink is in southmall..but i don't really skate that much by now..'bout you?

  • @tsukashi17 Yeah I've been there. But I reckon the place is jampacked all the time. I make it a point to skate whenever I'm there. You see, I'm not from Manila. Hehe :)

  • @toughtop oh i see

    so where are you from?

  • @tsukashi17 Bacolod. Hehe

  • i cannot believe it.

the girls i go skating with are much better than her :(.

    sheesh they should enter.

i tell them to [i fall a lot in spinning..-sigh] but they don't wanna.

  • not saying ur girls shouldn't gracielle just had nerves.. i have seen her skate much better.. probably just as good as "the girls that you skate with" you should see her at practice!!!!

  • ho many times she fall,,but at the end she do it..nice job

  • I love the Phillippines.

It has a personal special meaning to me.

My best friend is half phillippina.

I would go see her perform with two flags...Korean and Philippino National Flag.

  • Philippines is not yet ready for Worlds or Olympics in skating. there are so many competitive girls out there who are better technically, balletic and gymnasts. Phil.reps will just end up in the bottom ranks, like this one. On Jeanne, she did her best and she's great out there.

  • amateur. more practice. nice dress though.

  • aren't most competitive skaters amateur? because the coaches are known as Professional coaches.

  • amateur.. nice of u to say.. because im sure u skate sooo much better than her... anyhoo yup :)))

  • good job. i want to represent philippines. do you know any competitions at the philippines

  • Lolz. Btw, I'm iskate4usa's sister. Nice job!

  • Hi Gracielle and Lia!! I love you footwork =)
