  • This is a beautiful song , the first time I heard it was in the movie " La Vie en rose"

  • awesome^^

  • wow, Cindy made a clasic out of a clasic! Awesome job, girl!

  • it still lacks some of the french but nevertheless a moving interpretation. i want to cry...

  • This song was writen for her lover of the moment Marcel ,most people think she sang it after his death when she sang it before but released it hence he died, nice proof of love

  • my favourite song of Piaf,

The best english version i heard

  • I cried listening to this..I want this to be my bridal march, violin version

  • Simple and wonderful - beautifully arranged and sung - she made it her own...

  • I want 2 cry right now ////

  • This is lovely! I had no idea Cyndi Lauper could sing something like this!

  • Så Bra

  • Me encanta la interpretacion de ella.

  • Ms. Cyndi is amazing. I love her.

  • The song is originally sung by Edith Piaff.

Cindi does a great job !!

  • This is my favorite version of this song. Cyndi is so soulful! Wonderful!

  • I like this version but no-one can beat Edith Piaf's she sings it with such passion . After seeing La Vie En Rose I know now that Edith is singing this song to her lover Marcel who died in a plane crash , it's a sad song anyway but when I found this out I found it even sadder especially as I've recently got engaged .

  • the scene where she figures out marcel isn't there with her, and she had imagined him? and she screams about the watch she was to give him? i cried like a baby. that movie was beyond amazing.

words can't even begin to describe.

  • great great song by a great artist !! thanks for posting this ... cherry from philippines

  • amazing voz

  • This is just the best rendition of this song in the history music. Or the history of history. Or any history of anything.

  • Edith is a lot better. I LOVE Cyndi, but nobody can touch this song...ever...

  • Another wonderful interpretation and version of the Edith Piaf Classic. I love the English and the French Versions by everybody. Patti Labelle is still my favorite, but everyone's version is superb. What a wonderful song. It touches your heart and shakes your very soul.

  • Yet one more interpretation of my all time favorite song. Please check out Corey Hart's version if you like this song. It is a slightly different translation and hearing it sung by a man is very moving.

  • en que disco esta esta cancion???????

  • el disco se llama "At Last"

  • gracias danda137.

  • I admit I considered Cindy a " low level singer". I apologize. Great, she made me really change idea.

  • GOD! Thanks a lot! I won't stop crying for two hours now - and I'm supposed to be a "man" lol. 5 stars. God bless Cyndi.

  • @j67123 Guys cry, too. Where is it writen that we can't? Who said that guys can't be sensible and aprecciate art?

  • If you like Cyndy Lauper you may like te song "The world is stone". You can find it on youtube. It is also a french song sang in english by Cyndi Lauper

  • What a song. It sooths me every night. I pray every night that Cyndi will go to heaven. I hope my prayers will be answered.

  • My partner and I find this version very moving and will be using it for our upcoming hand-fasting

  • Happy Hand-fasting for you.

May the Goddess and her partner bless you !

Hope one day I have a Hand-fasting too!

  • What a wonderful, personal version of this song...

  • Excelente interpretación, un verdadero reto hacer el cover, sobretodo si es de Edith Piaf pero estamos hablando de Cyndi Lauper, muy buena...

  • edith would be proud:)

  • Edith Piaf is great as Cyndi is

  • The original version is singing by EDITH PIAF.

  • My little girl, who's now 25, used to pray for Cindy Lauper every night. She was only 5 and wanted her to go to Heaven. Sweet.

  • What a voice...what a song...what a gal!!

  • Great song
