  • Amazing.

  • Love this version. X. X. X. X.

  • I can watch this over and over, and then some more

    love them

  • I've been married twice, had dozens of girlfriends and then some, but I've never had a woman love or look at me as Jessi did Waylon ha ha.What a way to go.

  • I'm just so sad he's gone...so so talented.

  • "BUM" looking guy? Are you kidding? He's gorgeous! ChiroQuacker, I'm sure your mom likes how you look but how well has it served you? Maybe you should loosen your tie and not be so Rigid,.. then maybe you will attract the kind of woman you are attracted to.

  • That woman still mourns for her man to this day. The reason? He was a great MAN. Woman like her do NOT go out with DOUCHE BAGS LIKE YOU. AS far as you being educated. From your name it sounds to me that you are a wanna be Dr. A BACK QUACK!

  • THAT BUM LOOKING DUDE IS A COUNTRY LEGEND WHO WROTE AND PERFORMED COUNTRY STANDARDS.HE WAS ALSO A BIT ON THE WILD SIDE THAT ATTRACTS THE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN AWAY FROM THEIR MONOTONOUS ,CLEAN CUT,NEVER CHEAT ON EM KIND OF GUYS.

  • @3RDMILLENNIUMCHESS right on .love your comment waylen rocks . i grew up listening to this man . and so have my kids he is timeless

  • why is she with this bum looking guy?

why do hot women go for bums like this

i am a professional man, clean cut, educated not some hobo looking deadbeat who will cheat on a woman like this guy will

so why isnt she with me?

  • @ChiroQuacker BUM ??????? that's the just off the wall WAYLON might have been many things but a bum was never one of them and he was more of a PROFESSIONAL then you ever will be pal as for his saying went ( This Is No Dress Rehearsal We Are The Professional's And This Is The Big Time) so on that note if you dont like Waylon Jennings you can kiss my ass and get off his video's .....WAYLON RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ChiroQuacker BUM?? you'll never amount to anything Waylon was. I bet if that BUM was still alive today he'd beat the living shit out of you and rip you a new one, but Shooter on the other hand is doing well and im sure as hell he doesnt appreciate you talkin about his beautiful mother or deceased father the way you do.

  • @4boophin2bandit0

first off..i dont know who either of these two are...i just happen to go on my youtube home page and.they had clips that they recommend..and this was one of them...so i checked it out...and i made what i felt was an honest observation...

i didnt know the bearded guy was dead...RIP

as for the woman...she is super hot and now that she done grieving..i'd be happy to show her what a real man is really like in the sack

  • @ChiroQuacker: You said it..You don't KNOW ANYTHING. Why don't you just happen along somehwere else. We're not interested in your pathetic, self gratification. Blowing your own horn is a sign you are sexually inadiquate. EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT!!.

  • @rebirth401

many satisfied ladies have blown my horn....

  • @ChiroQuacker well that is easy to answer son .. see i am a well educated man as well . although there is a difference .. i am confident in who i am and how i am (i live real and with the earth) you how ever live in shadows of doubt and also off the earth instead of with it. this makes you more then what you say is a bum , it makes you a parasite and the is easy to see on a person and that is why you can't and never will have a hot woman like her Son!! oh yeah and btw FUCKU

  • @TheMrdogoman

that bum was a coke addict and blew all his money on drugs and left his family in bad financial situation, tax liens, etc

    now i:

    1- pay my bills

    2- have zero debt

3- provide for my family very well

4- if i drop dead between my savings, real estate holding with no mortgage and my huge life insurance policy...my family..my loved ones will be in great shape

unlike that bum waylon...jessie deserved better...

  • @ChiroQuacker: You made another list. But why stop at #4?

    5. After all I've done, I'm still not happy.

    6. I will never have a woman like Jesse.

    7. I blow my own horn over and over and no one gives a shit.

    8. Bottom line, no woman will ever look at me the way Jesse looked at Waylon. EVER!!

    9. I have my ducks in a row!! So that makes me special.

    10. No one will remember me when I'm dead.

You're waaaay too shallow for a woman like Jesse anyway. Forget about it, List Man!

  • this a a beautiful song with the two that could make it work.

  • we will never have another moment like this in music.

  • @MrJustinbama Sad but true......

  • fantastic song that almost wasn't sung by the only two who gives it the most sincere meaning --- classic!!! --- thanks for sharing

  • Miss old' Waylon!!!!!

  • Mr. Waylon did love Jesse

  • More than hard to take. *TEARS*

  • Dukeboy's WAYLON and Jessi's Colter Tribute video has been removed.......... sucks!!!! :(

  • The song that almost wasn't. Waylon had been very sick and jessi wrote this while watching over him in his bed. She didn't want to sing it but lucky for us waylon convinced her. That's the story as i heard it on the nashvill network.

  • They look so in love ..glad they found each other ..it is rare to meet your soul mate

  • I like that old b model Mack at the end. Sweet truck

  • Jessi this is the Greatest Song Ever. I want to sing it with you before I die.

Hokey Sloan P.S. Damn I miss Waylon

  • I'm only 26 and I feel like I was born 30 years too late.

  • @bubba2301 You are................

  • @bubba2301 I'm 23 and stumbled across Waylon Jennings through listening to his grandson's, Young Struggle, rap music. Definitely glad about this discovery...

  • @bubba2301 it was quite the era to grow up with these two........was 6 years old when that root 5 beat and richies foot drum got me.

  • do you really know the truth about this song. it really never was intended to be heard by anyone other that waylon

  • The storm spoken of in this fabulous performance by WJ and JC never could have ever arisen. The Original Outlaw of C&W Music worshipped this angel of his dreams. RIP WJ. God Bless JC

  • she should of married me

  • BBEEAAUUTTIIFFUULL!!!!! The only other thing I can say is: WAYLON MARRIED WAY OVER HIS HEAD!!! But, it was a really good match. RIP, Waymore

  • Great

    Thanks Waylon and Jessi

  • I like her "1970s hair"!

  • Beautiful, I love em both .Thanks for posting

  • Storms never last do they baby

Bad times all pass with the wind

Your hand in mine stills the thunder

And you make the sun want to shine.

You followed me down so many roads baby

I've picked wild flowers and sung you soft sad songs

And every road we took God knows

Our search was for the truth

And the clouds brewing now won't be the last.

    i love you Marcia

  • 2 of my favorite Country singers, singing one of my favorite songs , Pity he was taken from us, so soon. Arthur

  • making BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TOGETHER !! I get chill bumps !!

  • I get chill bumps when I listen to this song. !! The love btween them.........

  • Jessi Colter was first married to Duane Eddie the drummer. It must have been love with Waylon, they stayed together until his last day. Thanks for the upload.

  • @streetwhereulive Duane Eddie was a guitar player...DE and his twangy guitar.

  • @Bluesbabesrv You're right. I don't know why I said drummer. Earth to Street!

  • They were great together

  • lonegirl777... I just have to respond. I see you left this about a year ago and will probably not see this, but had to write it. You said what you wouldn't do to have a man like Waylon....and how lucky Jess was... I loved Waylon and his music for sure. But I have been married to a fast, rugged southern man with both a drinking and drug problem. That's no kind of life no matter how much you love them. But I can understand how you would not see things this way.....

  • me too i have a dog son like waylon he's even named waylon love this song thanks for posting.

  • what I wouldn't give to have this in Hi Def, this was Gam and Papa'

s son. After she died I listened to any bootleg out there. I need a good one

  • I love that litlle wink at the end...that says it all. They loved each other...a lot!

  • Oh my, Fire Your JOB is going to find out God is a liar.

  • Waylon is so good and Jessie is so beautiful and talented too. I just tear up listening to this and I'm not Lisa too.

  • Bought a Jessi Colter album twenty five years ago. I still have it and play it regularly.. Sadly, Waylon is no longer with us !

    Tombro

  • actually waylon was a lucky guy.we all remember that he was almost on the plane with buddy and ritchie!!!

  • @blondielives he got a chance to repent and believe in Jesus and that is what saved him

  • Jessi wrote this and took it to Waylon. He read it and read it and said, there is something wrong here but I can;t put my finger on it. Then he said, Oh, I got it. None of this song rhymes. (well, who says it has to) I love it. I saw them in person do it in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

  • Ying and Yang - thanks for the memories - Sexy Harbour!!

  • One night after a night of heavy drinking ,waylon got the screaming shits , thats one storm he thought would never stop !

  • Jessi wrote this song then threw it away..Waylon while going through the garbage found it...A great song that was almost thrown away...She didn't think it was that good...Wow, what a great song...

  • where is the url for the videos ?

  • Old school love!

  • I sent this song to my exhusband at the point when we became friends again. It was poignant, I love this song.

  • For Flo who's out there in California. We had the best times and we saw the best.

    Dan

  • I have never heard a better harmonica either. It just compliments a great song and greater couple.

  • @onebaud

I sent this song to my exhusband at the point when we became friends again. It was poignant.

  • Jessie Colter is so beautiful I can't look at her without tearing up. What a package with that voice and style.

  • jessi colter one the must underrated women in country.

  • so in love - Tuk Style - parties on the beach...

  • Jessi you were and are a great great singing, but I ain saying nothing everyone don't already know. You were awesome in this song! Loved Waylon!

  • This is True Love at its best!

  • shes great the way she just hops on the stool, no time to catch her breath, and sings like that with a smile on her face

  • There is more to this than just 2 words, if you knew the whole story you would understand. I am not about to tell the world the whole story and maybe before you make neg. comments on anything you should find out the whole story first. The two words would have been the start of the forgiving, but it is too late now. I don't want the two words anymore. I have thought long and hard about it and the hurt outweights the forgiveness. Bye the way I am a senior citizen.

  • i grew up 46 miles from this guy, I played ball at ttu and wtsu and bounced for him every time he was in the area. he partied with my grandpa, or something of the like.

  • I wish my ex would let the storm we had over a year ago pass and forgive me as I have her so we could get back to loving each other like we should be doing!!! but I fear i will be alone forever because no one will ever take her place in my heart.

  • What I wouldnt do to have a man like Waylon and Jessiw was a very lucky woman!!!!

  • @lonegirl777 but now hes dead because of his ways sooooo i leave the rest of the story to you

  • @w9x7cv3vg6 when it is your time to go it is your time... and if you read my comment I did use the past tense... WAS!!! sooooo comment on someone who cares what you think!!!

  • @lonegirl777 I'd say Waylong was a damn lucky man to have a woman like Jessi, who is still gorgeous.

  • @lonegirl777 ....I agree. He sure was a sexy thing!

  • @lonegirl777 Trust me...you don't want a man like Waylon. It hurts the heart.

  • @lonegirl777 And Waylon was a very lucky man.....what made it so wonderful and beatiful is it was a two way street. A blind person couldnt mis thier love for each other.

  • Jessi reminds me of Olivia Newton John for some reason. Their expressions are similar.

  • I can listen to this music forever. Waylon and Jessi are class act. I would have like them as my brother and sister....go..go..go

  • love them!!!!!!

  • Remember that when we have a disagreemnt baby. I love you

  • dont happen to have this with better quality

  • What fun I had playing this peacful song the other night. Finaly the fierce winds begin to die down, and all you could hear was the tune, "Storms Never Last". Everything was nice and calm. And right when you thought the storm was over...

The winds kicked back up and the storm became stronger and stronger and....

People where trying to take cover, but their was no where to run or hide. They just had to stand their and take the force of the storm...

  • THis reminds me of the Faith Hill/Tim McGraw video.

  • LOL I guess people didnt like your comment. But you are right they had similar video . i think it was "I need you" ?

  • Yes, that's the one...I think maybe they got the idea from Waylon and Jessi ?

    I like both..

Yeah, some of the people must not..LOL

  • Duets - How about Conway and Loretta, or Tammy Wynette and George Jones, or Dolly Parton and Porter Wagner.

  • Blah...this is the original. Ain't no Tim and Faith business here with Jessie and Waylon.

  • Peace and love...

  • Faith and Tim can't tote their water, in fact if it weren't for Waylon and Willie the country singers as known today wouldn't exist. Waylon was with Buddy Holly and just happen not to step on his plane that faithful day.

  • Tim and Faith.....puke...puke...

  • At least they love each other....but yeah...they aren't THE BOMB like Waylon and Jessi.

  • F-a-t-e-f-u-l

  • awesome

  • I can only dream of having love like this

  • It's a beautiful song.

  • I'm an ol' rock'n' roller but I have to say when country is this GOOD,I'm a country roller!I love Waylon, but with Jessi...holy smokes...... and you know that's okay, with Waylon being in one of the first rocknroll bands....the Crickets

  • This one mess's me up i can't even describe it?!

  • This song is awesome, it tells of many relationships that last to the end. It sure tugs at your heart. I wish Jessi & Waylon had made more songs together. Thanks for posting

  • I'm really glad I got to see them sing this Wallingford CT circa 1990 and NYC late '70's. Waylon deserved more air time-miss him "Lonesome, Ornery and Mean"

  • I just adore him when he does that little wink near the end. Luv you Waylon

  • She loved him in spite of all their "storms". How could she not?
