  • Why are the top comments the same?

  • Hello, Clarice.

  • this movie made me cry

  • Three people need to get more fun in life.

  • I've watched this gem numerous times and still remain avid to watch it again and again. It has everything one very good movies should have: classy acting, suspense to move the plot forward with tension and expectation, well tuned soundtrack, which makes 80% of the movie experience, compelling characters for which we care about, and sympathize. I remember this movie from my childhood and can tell once you watch it, it never leaves you...!

  • one of the greatest movies, and don't forget; one of the best books too :)

  • my god that was so awsome

  • A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti *fsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfsfs*

  • love it

  • I ate lamb today and yesterday

  • oh I Love

  • Epic piece. Love to listen to this while playing Farmville. Lels.

  • @GBandJB1 Yes and no. It is not based on true stuff, but rather assembled. Thomas Harris used the MO's of different real life serial killers as inspiration and even foundation to create the Buffalo Bill's personality. Ted Bundy who pretended to be physically handicapped with a cast on his hand lured his victims to help him out with somthing and then strike! Ed Gein who used the skin od dead people to make some stuff out of it is another example. So, you get partial credit.

  • Who wrote this music?

  • @TonyF273 Howard Shore.

  • @TonyF273

    The german musicer hans zimmer.

He made soundtracks of many famous movies: Gladiator, the simpsons, ...

  • @wolfbockwolfbock actually Silence was scored by Howard Shore, not Zimmer. However Zimmer did do the score for Hannibal.

  • @JustinMcQueenTheMan

    Yes, right.

    Sorry for my stupid mistake

  • Creepy

  • I've seen it but I did not really was speechless however that it's one of the best US movies.

But the music is awesome ^^

  • One of the best books ever.

  • Dear Hannibal Lector

I admire you so much. I want to be a friend of you. One day I hope

I be so cool like you. You are my hero.

    Your best friend ...

This letter I should write and send

to the real Hannibal Lector: Robert Maudsley

  • @wolfbockwolfbock sign it "Avid Fan"

  • Hannibal Lecter is a fictional person to 100 per cent.

There was never a cannibal, a serial killer or so on who act on this wise.

This cannibal has characters of many real serial killers.

The biggest part of the characters have two men.

The british murderer und cannibal Robert Maudsley. He had killed several people and ate their brain. Nowaday he live in similar cell like Lector was.

The second man was the american serial killer Ed Gein who "played" with the skin of his victims.

  • @wolfbockwolfbock may i ask how you know this stuff?

  • @TheNoodle97 probably the way most people know it, history... personal research...the names are fairly famous. I'm surprised you haven't heard of thm.

  • @sazmullium well, i do like history but just dont research serial kilers, maybe the reason i havnt heard of these famous killers is because im too young to remember them, plus, im only 13

  • @TheNoodle97

I worked in a psychiatry and I have learned many things about mentally ill people!

The most of them are very normal, you can speak with them like with your boyfriend.

In addition I know that people who are ill in their brains do not stupid.

A murderer is not stupid and this people live the same life like "all others".

Therefore the police have problems to find a killer - noboby on the street you can see

if he had done criminal activities.

Be care for people you dont know!

  • @wolfbockwolfbock i never said anything bad about mentally ill people.

  • What does Hannibal Lector do? I'm confused and am being told many different things on what type of killer he is- i don't know, is he a cannibal or did he just wear the peoples or what?? I'm so confused!! D:

  • @dragonholder411 Hannibal Lecter is a Cannibalistic killer that is also a doctor and a psychologist, that only eats the rude. Bufflow Bill kills people and take bits of the skin to make a female skin suit as he see himself as a transvestie but has been denied sex change surgery. hoped this helped :)

  • that's not the real theme. it's a cheap cover.

  • @jwhittle91 nvm

  • "quick qo pro Clarice"

  • @void735 quid quo pro

  • the best movie ever...my favourite...

  • love it

  • very nice musical score, for sure

    and awesome movie

  • Lector isn't as scary as I thought he would be but I would go gay for his voice.

  • i ve seen this movie at least 3 times

but i do not understand why it s so famous

but i have to admit that theme is excellent :-)

  • No Jame Gumb here...great film though...ranks on the top...no doubt at all!!

  • this movie is the one of hannibal lecter???

  • @gjtuypioasdcgj Yep, it is.

  • @gjtuypioasdcgj there are three lecter films english films and 1 german lecter film. they were made in the order of silence of the lambs, Hannibal, Red dragon, Hannibal rising. English base you should watch them as Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs and then Hannibal to get them in the right order.

  • @sazmullium What about Manhunter?

  • @Lakerzrock10 I personally don't count manhunter as a lecter film due to the way it was poorly done that and it is just red dragon..and red dragon was done a million times better. Though i am totally aware it is classed as a lecter film.

  • @sazmullium I actually thought that Manhunter was a pretty great movie. Weird how different our opinions are.

  • @Lakerzrock10 aha well it's always going to happen :P I just feel Anthony Hopkins Lecter feels more like i imagend him to be in the books, but Brian Cox did an ok job. : ) Everyone pictures lecter to be different :D so i guess thats why our opinions differ? ha

  • @sazmullium Yeah, Anthony Hopkins definitely did a great job with the eeriness and disturbing perceptiveness that we all associate with Lecter. To me, both movies were awesome, but Silence of the Lambs was easily better. Anyway, as long as we're both fans of the series itself, we aren't so different after all. :)

  • this movie is epic

  • Good song !

  • "It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hoze again"

  • @Incizor1 "PUT THE FUCKING LOTION IN THE BASKET!!!"

  • <3 LOVED Anthony Hopkins in this! <3

  • Howard Shore is the best!!! He is the best in the job!

  • Amputate a man's leg, and he can still feel it tickling...

Tell me MOM... When your little girl is on the slab, whare would it tickle you......

"take this THING back to Baltimoore"

Oh senatore!!! just one thing.... Love the suit.

  • this movie was great, Anthony Hopkins at his best.

  • No man, "IT'S"...Harrison Willis.

    Silence of the Cows

  • I thought it was Denzel Washington :p

Guyz, give it a break :))))

  • Howard Shore never gets the recognition he deserves.

  • anybody have the Goldberg Variations from this movie in mp3 format?

  • lol ive never sen this movie but my sis told me it was really gory! lol

  • the best movie ever made!!!

  • @prabhumast definitely!

  • my all time favourite movie never tire of this movies such amazing story and likeable characters especially hannibal!
