Dylan uses kind of wonky-sounding music and delivery to disarm you- the actual meaning of the lyrics is persecution. "Stoning" is a term from Biblical times, when the entire village would pelt someone with large rocks if they committed a crime or were considered undesirable.

Nice to see early Crowes stuff; this was the Russian gig of the 1991 Monsters of Rock tour with various other bands including Metallica and AC/DC. I saw the show at Donnington, was an awesome day. Just reading some of the posts and for the record the Crowes have only released 2 covers on any studio album. They have nine albums out and other solo stuff too. This year they released three albums, all top notch!

that is a vintage early 50s (not sure which year) tele:) gorgeous things. nowadays the cost more than i dare to mention:( and ( correct me if im wrong) im not sure they were making mexican fenders at this point (early 90s) as for the new fender tele, they have 6 saddle bridges (like a strat) so some people think they sound different, but you should check them out. japanese teles are good too:)
