Awesome! There is a lot of perfect Vito Bratta stuff on here. MUCH better than the guy that Mike Tramp has playing in his band now. I don't know if anyone has seen them live lately, but I have and the guy can't even get the riffs right....much less the solos.
@justfine77777 its about a midget prostitute who was incarcerated in 1982 in Belgrade, she was imprisoned for 2 years before they let finally let her out in reponse to public outcry, she ended up becoming heavily involved in womens civil rights. This song is was written in honor of her and is a beautiful tribute I think... Novi "little fighter" Beograd 1958-2008
@Transamstance The song "Little Fighter" was about the Rainbow Warrior, a ship owned by the environmental group Greenpeace that was destroyed by operatives of the French intelligence service and not bout some midget prostitute!
@Transamstance wrong fucker could be someone from your family. What was the point to wrote the song little fighter said mike tramp in video escape from brooklyn. Please take a look and don´t be silly.
I own a VHS of Escape from Brooklyn, I've seen it plenty of times, I know what Mike said. Fact remains,Richard Stuverud, who used to play a drums in Intrepid and Fortress at the time (and btw who IS my cousin) opened for White Lion at the Ritz in '88. And even audtioned for the band when they were looking for a new drummer. One of the things they spoke about was "little fighter".
@napalroom ....CONTINUED.... Obviously; a lot of things change when you hit it big and the true meaning behind your songs are no exception. I urge you to RE-listen to the song.
@Transamstance You were alone out on the sea.....you were a figter for peace on this earth....this lyrics can explain the meanin of the song. But this song is so brilliant that there is no point what the right meaning is....
First piece I've checked out on this song-solo covered, but awesome job!....Vitto may have not been the greatest, but deserves more respect than he got!...Nice and Thanks for sharing!
@Petie1 Vitto in my opinion was very similar to Randy Rhoads. A Neo-Classical Metal Shredder Not just speed but extremely melodic with a lot of flair. IMO
@Torrello13 I agree, And some of Vitos playing reminds me a lot of Randy. The arpeggiated progression at the end of wait has that same feel of the diary of a madman intro. also In the beginnig of the solo in"If my mind is evil" it has that same feel as over the mountain solo IMO
Pretty good. Stick with it and don't get bored. I seen alot of kids in my day that were extremely good but by the time they were of age to do something with it, they were into otherthings like girls, gangbanging and meth. They never did anything. such a waste.
excellent solo, man. What equipment are you using? the sound of the solo is extremely close to the Vito's, please light me (you must be using an stratocaster right?).
this guitar is a peavey v-type equipped with a seymour duncan jb on bridge and a 59' on nech.the sound comes from a behringer v-amp2 and a portable marshall with battery.
Vitto didn't seal anything...he learned from other players and adapted things to his own unique style. All guitar players have influences. If you can play a Van Halen or a Vitto solo, you are doing something right...whether you are copying licks or not.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Vito was cool back in the 80's, but then everyone realized he stole all his licks from Eddie Van Halen, so he gave up on music because he's a fraud. He now lives in his mother's basement and barely sees the light of day....that's his punishment for copying Van Halen all his life.
you clearly have no idea about music, where do you think every guitarist has developed ideas, they listen to their fav music and guitarist learn the techniques and do solos with them techniques in them using a same technique is not steelin someone else's stuff and for the record VH wasnt the first one to tapp hes was the first one to become mainstream and do it so shutup
Vito was influenced by Eddie. But he has his own style anad was a excellent guitarist. He moved in his Moms basement to take care of his ailing Father. Hair bands were dying out due to MTV rap crap.
Awesome job on a classic Vito solo....but you do realize he stole all his licks from Eddie Van Halen? Once he realized he was a complete fraud, he gave up on music and moved into his mother's basement...end of story.
i think that vito is really influenced by eddie's style, and he created a lot of good songs and solos.
i don't think that stole the riffs from eddie but he was able to create an own style and a fantastic melody...whe I listen to his solos my mind fly with him.
I agree with altemu, Everyone was influenced by Eddie but Vito's style was very unique. He wasn't a shreeder at all, everything he did was thought out, melodic, and perfectly clean. Some of the best rock/metal phrasing ever.

Vito was influenced by Eddie as many were.
ZZ top was first to do artificial harmonics and Skynyrd was doing it about the same time. Now who don't use AH?
Vito moved in with Mom to help take care of his Ailing Father. He is a real estate agent now.
Vito is one of the bestest.
