dispite what people say ubuntu is one of the best os out there windows suxs not to mention ill gates is the devil and as for mac they pretty much copying of ubuntu so mac is gey as hell you just gotta know how to use it R.F.M folks read the fucking manual

Do you deny that statement is true?I will tell you why it sucks,the ubuntu wifi driver does not get me on the internet,it shows 50% signal at 10 feet away from my access point(with windows its 98%) but no internet browsing is available,I looked how do I figure it out,and the documentation is too confusing.With windows its point and click.after two hours trying to figure it out with linux I said f u c k it.
Maybe the new release is better.I will try it one last time.
Tabby we can finally agree, yes wireless in linux is a bitch. Mine was simple(broadcom chipset) all i had to do was boot up pc, enable restricted driver, turn wifi card off, disable driver, reboot, switch card on, enable driver. Bam got signal

Thats why it sucks for me,maybe the new release will be better,but so far it does suck.
I will try the new version when it comes out in a few weeks and I hope I dont have to throw another dvd in the trash.
