_____Sorry, but this mod is dead. I blame a lack of scheduling. You started work on this...two years ago? My team turned RE4 into a Silent Hill total conversion in half that time. I also wrote two novels to boot, along with a sci-fi short story to try and make some cash on the side. (The story is headed for California. Maybe it'll clear the publishers; maybe it won't.) You need to either start holding people to deadlines or start kicking them off your team.

That is not true they can force you to stop and even take anything from you that is their copyright, even tough is made by you, by using others copyright you lose the right to the work. Fox is known to enforce their copyright police with force and many mod teams even had legal problems with Fox and others.

unless laws have changed then you don't have to change anything. I mean, fan art, fan fiction, fan games its all the same. Even if there was a legal battle they could argue discrimination compared to all the unaffected projects.

You remember that command and conquer mod that was essentially halo wars? It had all of halos models, and it was becoming REALLY popular..

Microsoft tore them apart, shut down the operation and continued to make their own halo wars game.. So I agree with whoever is saying they cant do it.. They can until it becomes popular enough for the real devs to get some profit out of it ;)
