I've gotten so many people hooked on SG:U, people who originally didn't even regularly watch scifi. SyFy's decision to cancel the show is just another sign of how far down the dumpster they've gone.

What if the people who see the video and the show just dont like it? That seems to be the problem. It has nothing to do with them being aware of the show. Its that they are aware of the show and DONT LIKE IT. Thats why it was cancelled.

@scifiovermind That's not entirely true. Yes, the show has haters due to the massive change that SGU has been, but the show has been extremely successful in many other countries. In fact, it's even shown on two TV stations (one free-to-air) in Australia. The ratings have done well in most places.

The show was not cancelled because people didn't like it. The time slot and hate due to the change of style shed off many SyFy viewers, and SyFy funded a large portion of the show.

The viewership was 200 people. Let me explain. You all don't matter to the TV companies. There is a thing called a Nielsen rating. Which are 5000 homes in the U.S that dictate what we watch. 5000 people to speak for over a 150 million tv viewing homes in the US! If we want shows like this and shows like Firefly to stop being cancelled we need to fight to get this system abolished.

I would like for everyone who says this show did poorly to look at Hulu's viewership numbers.

This amazing piece of a fan made trailer is an awesome promotion for the franchise, I hope SGU will get a well deserved pick up from another channel!

SyFy was so DAMN SHORTSIGHTED with their decision not to support such an amazing show and overall franchise any longer!!!

I am still pissed about that. :(

Some of the best SyFy shows of all time needed at least 2 Seasons to gain "full momentum" And I think SGU did that already with episodes like "The Greater Good" "Malice", "Light" and "Time"!
