Both local government authorities and road work contractors build low quality roads everytime so that , after the next rainy season, the roads will be damaged and they can get contract for the next phase of road work ( = chance to loot crores of public money ). The drama continues year after year and no one complains !

@vaas44 No its not. I have seen roads which are made with a 5 year guarantee in Kerala. They even lasted morethan 7 years. So its the corruption.
