    Why can't today's channel's ID didn't sound like this?

The logo and fonts was really 70s,80s style.

There's nothing wrong about logo,i think its rather "kind of my style that i wanted

    to see"

  • This is the logo I remember most growing up.

  • If we as citizens are obligated to pay a hefty fee, to a private company just to be given the privilege of accessing "public television" then by default there is no such thing as public television.

  • I LOVED this logo because i knew that soon i would be soothed by Lilias Yoga and You!

  • In New York, the music would sometimes be muted out by an announcer saying this or that is coming up next on Thirteen.

  • why are some people saying they are scared of this?- you squares...this is awesome

  • Umm, no.

  • I remember this from Sesame Street, when it was shown after the credits. Ah, the memories!

  • " ...one of the scariest logos in the history of television, due to its startlingly primitive animation and frightening moog synthesizer tones " < Ha Ha Ha! Folks, you just can't make this stuff up! Thanks for the memories, yes I found the "humanoid" head sorta disturbing when I was a kid, gotta love growing up in the '70s! :D

  • I love this logo its not scary at all! (To me)

  • How can I get this as a ring tone for my text phone??

  • Those sounds stimulate brain cells that remained dormant for many years..

  • So much nostalgia comes from that. It is one of the major symbols of my childhood.

  • When i heard this many times as a kid, I thought a nuclear war from the USSR had started when i heard it and it was an emergency broadcast.

  • I agree. That sound used to scare the crap out of me when I heard it.
