This is one ride I've never actually been on. Even up till now, I still wonder why they refer to this ride as "the tornado" as it doesn't have a similar spiraling motion on the vertical as the actual phenomenon (here it's mounted horizontally), nor does it do that much spinning, but I suppose it's just a name of reference to make it catchy. lol It's a well renowned ride at La Ronde, though.
@Rain1290 its a name for a ride.. it doesnt always have to make sence to be a cool ride.. have you actually been on this ride? I have and it feels as if ur in a tornado when you get off.. your top heavy but its like an awesome sensation.. there are many rides that have catchy names.. duh thats how they make business lol.. i liked it so too bad about the name.. its a word :p
