@Vaserlan hmm.. well considering they are doing a cavalry charge to the orcs right flank which is undefended and also traps them between the river and the city  its not that bad. cavalry are meant to charge and in the past it did used to cause foot soldiers to rout and break formation. yes thy didnt have a wedge going or anything but a cavalry charge that big would break the back of most armys, especially since the horses do most of the killing.

@Omega7000 I know that a horse can easily crush a human but in no world can a horse trample over what, 400 (maybe more) tightly packed ranks of armoured monsters without losing even a bit of momentum. Thats why cavalry ALWAYS required infantry support in any battle because once they get bogged down in a melee they are very vulnerable. If you want examples look at Neys cavalry charge in the battle of Waterloo. They had no infantry support and were utterly destroyed.

I'd suggest you get a fully grown horse to sprint directly at you and for you not to move but then you'd die. In all seriousness, you would get crushed and trampled much like the orcs did it in this charge. The impact of the horse hitting you could easily snap your spinal cord on impact. A horse is around 7 times as heavy as the average human + momentum, go figure.
