  • Buenisimo!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you for this good and well explained demonstration! :) Gave me some new ideas!

  • 240p doesn't look that bad to me. I guess the amount of pixels is not everything.

  • Great demo, Andy! Thanks for posting this. I've had hot stone massage before (and they placed the stones directly on the skin). It was great.

  • Aragorn!

  • wow i love it. i am doing my diploma in massage therapy and I watched for the first time here what they do with the stones. is a great idea. where did the idea has originated from?

  • I leveled up my rogue with this playing in the background, so relaxing.

  • I am a massage therapist and we were told to NEVER place the hot stones directly onto the skin. I always place a dry towel over the back before placing my stones. I also only do one row of stones on the chakra points along the spine.

  • @SherlockAholic hmmm, from what i understand, to get that special energy/heat from the stones, they should be applied directly on the skin.. is what makes senses to me.

  • but these changing winds can turn cold and hostile...

  • Andy, I am of the understanding that hot rock massage is a treatment where hot rocks are placed on muscle points on the body to expel toxins in the skin.

I have had the rubbing of the stone treatment & it wasn't as effective as a shiatsu.

Is there just too much burnout in the industry where therapists are "over it" or just depends who taught them?

  • @GodBotherer1 It really depends on their particular technique, strength and how they were taught. Everyone has their own particular way of giving a massage (I have a few techniques of my own that I was never taught and have never seen in any video, but my friends and family who I have tried it on have adored it and it helps my mother who has back problems) so it really depends on who you go to. If you weren't satisfied with a certain person's way, then try someone else.

  • Have you seen this new way to heat hot stones in a bag?!

Check out Vulsini.com for a really cool product!

  • fuck that, no dude gonna touch me in that manner

  • How does your body temperature cool down during a hot stone massage? Shouldnt it go up? Heat is being transferred from the hot stone to the human body?

    delta sys<0

  • @my89tube He said it goes down during a MASSAGE, which is one of the benefits of a HOT stone massage. It will negate the dropping of the temperature some.

  • To Panssyrinx08 - Did not understand your comments regarding the fact the owner of the video placed the stones direct on the skin... can you just watching the video, feel the temperature of each stone ???? dont be naive... there are tons of other styles of Hot Stone Massage, I myself do a different kind of tecnique, and how do you know what temperature it was placed at his client ????

  • i though the 'hot stones' were going to be hot..

  • @Arodigger He said he had them on the heater first.

  • @Arodigger He did say he took them off the heater so they will have been warmed up.

  • Seems funny that the same person who is advertising how to do a hot stone massage also has videos for becoming a female fitness model, or increasing your bust size. Also, I too have never heard of placing the stones directly on bare skin until they have cooled down a bit. You place them one a towel on the back, let some cool down and work the legs first with the cooler ones, then work the back.

Sorry, but I doubt that you are a legitimate therapist, given all evidence.

    .

  • @panssyrinx08 watchmojo is a website full of learing videos, not a person.. duh!

  • @panssyrinx08 There are opposing views on this. Yes, the stones can be placed directly on the skin. I would prefer it that way.

  • I was told never to do placement stones directly onto the skin but over a thin peice of materal.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

  • @mzconception i use the hot stone on their body until its not as hot and then i place it.

  • @mzconception Generally, the safest way to apply Placement Stones is to use a towel (or something similar) to buffer the heat, just like you were taught. I teach Hot Stone Massage and we work at a fairly high temperature. This means that our Working Stones stay hot for a longer period of time, but our Placement Stones can't be placed directly on the skin. The therapist in this video must be working at a much lower temperature, otherwise he would cause some serious burns.

  • Intriguing.

  • @mzpixielated wow if u would do ur history then you would know tht he is Filipino

  • Great technical skills and well presented demonstration - thanks

  • i want to get a massage so badly!

  • @Malinux I feel you I have such a stiff shoulders, leggs and buttocks from sitting alot, I wanna cry for a good massage...I have no money for it:-(

  • @papoyuca357 Not his boyfriend, just sick of ignorant fucks like you. No need to comment back with your bullshit, have a good one

  • Comment removed

  • @papoyuca357 wow trying to make racist jokes and can't even spell CHINESE...dumbass

  • Would a hot stone massage work better (or would the therapist prefer it) if the massaged person shaved their body hair beforehand? Is it best to wait a day or so after shaving?

  • @MrXeroJoker he's not Asian get over it

  • tks.

  • As a massage therapist myself I was wandering if you had any great techniques for the legs and arms? I always find those difficult or awkward to work with using hot stones.

  • @Pwninu1 When I do a hot stone massage I place the client in the prone postion first, a hot stone can be placed under the rectus femoris, then I use the hot stone on the calf and biceps femoris as well as gluts. When the client is supine I place stones between the toes and wrap a hot stone to the bottom of the feet. Its alittle akward but you get use to it the more you do it.Clients love it and its great in the winter

  • @68chargerlover Cool?

  • not a pro, you can't do the movement like open the anus its uncomfortable to the patient

  • That's like saying a hot shower would burn someone. How silly, it all depends on the temperature, obviously the therapist wouldn't add so much heat as to burn the client.

  • Very informative, I especially like the idea of the stone in the hand idea,,,didn't think of that! Thanks!

  • wow not only does the hot stone massage look relaxing but for some reason this video itself was pretty relaxing for me

  • @kidd1023 The music , and the guys voice is very soothing. See exactly what you mean.

  • haha, tends to happen with everyone. Especially when they have a relaxing voice.

  • Imagine getting a massage from somebody with a voice like Roseanne or Fran Drescher (sp).

  • @kidd1023 me 2

  • @kidd1023 i know i feel the same i think it might be his smooth voice combined to the slow movements and the music in the backgroung. hot stone massages are the best. the back isn´t touched that often so sometimes i love when people just stand next to me and put their open palm on my back in a friendly way.

  • So if someone has high blood pressure a hot stone is totally out for them?

What is the safe temp for the rocks? And what is the safe temp for rocks for the face.

  • It's hard to say the stones should be so many degrees. The stones are heated up between 120-140 degrees. After you take them out of the water, you have to let them cool for several minutes. Always check the heat of the stone on your inner wrist before placing it on a person. The reason for this is because your hands will become accustomed to the heat and the stone will be too hot for person.

Facial rocks should be cooler than what's placed on the body. Or you could use cold facial stones.

  • Great video..very informative.

  • There is alot of information in this short video! He is good at clearly explaining and demonstrating.

  • He is asian...he is filipino

  • as long as the temperature doesn't exceed over 145 degrees F. it should be okay do have them placed directly on the skin.

  • I have never seen a gay asian before, first time for everything i suppose.

  • He's not even asian.

  • like hell he isnt.

  • His last name is Aragon, he doesn't have an asian accent either.

And you must be very ignorant, oblivious to your surroundings or most likely BOTH if you've never seen a gay asian. That? Or you're like 5. :D

  • Aww so cute, mzpixelated is trying to start a flame war. Someone give him a sticker for trying. So his last name is aragon, i have an Asian friend whose last name is smith, what is your point with last name? OH WAIT, you don't have one because last names prove nothing ;). by you QQing to me over the internet, you must be a butt pirate, go figure you say soemthing people get offended over the internet and start a holy war, go figure.. People need some ritalin in this world

  • WOW that was a defensive post. No, I was merely pointing out the fact that by how he looks, his slight accent and his last name which is SPANISH, he's not asian.

People over the internet are far too angry and defensive nowadays. This would be why I made the 5 year old comment, by the amount of silly internet insults thrown in there just to add "power" to your retaliation.

'Scuse me for pointing out the obvious. Next time I won't bother LOL -back to QQ-

  • LOL i love how you think its defensive its cute, brings a tear to my eye and saddens me that all you will ever do with your life is work in fast food. So sad :(

  • You know, making presumptuous comments about other people makes you look equally as arrogant as the very person you're arguing against. I don't want to be 'that guy' but yeah.

  • It is not just hot stones...

  • ... it's a space station.

  • funny how people can come up with so much bullshit it are just hot stones people

  • I agree, although it looks relaxing, I guess people just try to be as creative as possible, hehe

  • VERY INFORMATIVE!

  • I am a nationally certified massage therapist and the first rule when doing a hot stone massage is NEVER place a stone directly on the skin, it can cause burns easily.

  • Surely though the massage therapist would know if it was too warm because they wouldn't be able to hold it comfortably...?

Every hot stone massage I've seen, and that I've had, has involved placing hot stones on the skin... I would hate them to be wrapped in a towel or anything else.

  • Actually, the first rule is to use a thermometer.

  • I have always seen the stones placed directly on the skin. Of course you have to make sure there are not too hot. Common sense.

  • very nice andy !

  • WICKED video... i enjoyed it REALY =) so sooothing HAHAHAHA very good work Mate

  • I going to get one tomorrow for the first time. Been getting regular massages for 2 years now (every two weeks) and decided to have a change for my Birthday! Cannot wait now!

  • what's the name of this song plz (+interpreter) :D

and thx 4 the video :)

  • but how does super cooling work?

  • I believe it occurs for the most part near the bottom of the ocean where the current keeps water moving. While there are thermal vents in certain areas, where there isn't...the water never receives sunlight or energy of any kind...thus the temperature remains very low...

This also occurs near the poles as well I think...

I can't be completely sure though...you might consider doing some research on your own if you are curious :-)

  • you use ice 9, which instantly changes the melting temperature of all fluids to over 140 degrees Fahrenheit, so all fluids on earth would freeze if you released it into the atmosphere. duh.

  • Would you happen to know how it does that?

  • boiling point is 100 deg celsius and 212 deg fahrenheit... just to clear it up

  • how u make stones hot?

  • you heat them in water at some 110 degrees

  • you cant heat water to 110 degrees..it starts to eveporate at 100 lol

  • are you fucking stupid? boiling temperature is like 250

  • i think we all know who the stupid one is...(you) incase you are too stupid to figure it out

  • or maybe your a fucking jerk off? and yes I am refering to Fahrenheit, soo chill the fuck out and look it up

  • lol well then you are still off by about 40 degrees

  • Well in Fahrenheit it boils at 212 and at Celsius it boils at 100 so he was right and you were close >.>

  • actually you can,but you have to do things to the water.

  • in a normal environment, water starts evaporating at 212 degrees Fahrenheit or 100 degrees Celsius...

However, say the water is trapped underground near a pocket of magma...the water has nowhere to evaporate to and becomes super heated...that is...beyond boiling point.

The same can happen with super cooled water. The temperature drops below freezing point (32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees celsius) but continues moving and stays in a liquid form.

  • didnt know that.thanks mate.

  • very well presented and videoed, well done :)

  • Thank you for this video.

  • Thank you

  • thanks for showing me this. I really needed to see this procedure, and you did it so well. I can't tell you how grateful I am for posting this video. I hope you don't think of me as taking the whole arm, but how can I get more information on hot stone massage? I would appreciate this very much. Thank you.

  • Can you imagine being the guy on the table while they were filming this? Had to be a dream come true.

Director: "OK, let's shoot this scene again."

    Client: "Thank you, God!"

  • I really want to learn this!

  • This is jamesieboy2 's sister, i didn't know it was on his account... i didn't want ppl thinkin it's my brother lol

  • Thank you for posting this, very informative!

  • great video and very interesting

  • The guy is a raging homo!

  • Tony, me thinks he makes you hot.... Why do you care if he is gay anyway!? In your next life may you come back gay.

  • what does hitler have to do with a god damn hot stone massage??

  • @eternalsleeper godwin's law. :)

  • @eternalsleeper He was as cold as a rock

  • @eternalsleeper hahaha i just scrolled down to see what ppl are saying about stone massage... and the first thing i see is hitler... i cant believe some ppl... !

  • @eternalsleeper what does the mean haha i dont get it,

  • some techniques are rightfully done but some are not and actually not adviceable.

  • this is the most informative video on hot stone massage. thank you

  • he is kinda cute

  • I wish this video showed the massage from beginning to end rather than bits chopped together. One minute he's on the table and the next he's gone, then back again... it's a shame because otherwise it's a great massage video.

  • i tried this massage and i feel very good .

  • a very good demonstration, he knows what he is doing

  • that must feel so good
