  • We? lol ok...

Anyway, the 'methods and sources' of agent/asset handling and so forth are easily available for deep study and analysis through open sources readily available on the internet in academic journals and libraries. There are university level courses about security and intelligence open to students, furthermore there are books and documents released by agencies such as CIA, MI6, and even the old KGB on the matter. Hardly secretive if you know where to go or look.

  • @romanazazel Sure. Old World tradecraft. That's not what I was referring to. But, in the context of what you indicated, you are correct. In terms of "we" ... I was referring to my colleagues and the professionals who I work with.

  • Your video makes some good and accurate points regarding intelligence, but why do you sound so irritated or angry? lol you really sound annoyed for whatever reason.

  • @romanazazel It was probably latenight / very early in the morning ... 2:30 am 3:30 ... perhaps 4 am ... and I had probably been dealing with some punk with an attitude problem earlier in the day ... Excellent observation ...

  • @YFLOInternational Alright one of those nights ey? Working in security or you're a bouncer perhaps? Anyway, nice little video, though maybe you could've talked a little about the core of humint work: cultivating, recruiting and running assets, which are the bread and butter of human intel work.

  • @romanazazel Sometimes we don't go into much detail about methods and sources ...

  • @scottybot2003 I'm a patriot+would not sell out/will not sell out my country. For you to suggest that I am in any way shape or form comparable to Bradley Manning is plain sick and demonstrates that you are greatly misinformed. If that is what you truly believe, then you are so far out into the left field that you are clueless. Pretentiousness doesn't help advance your cause, and you really ought to reconsider your completely unfounded, egregious remarks. Your comments are purely fallacious.

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing Intelligence Officer Core Training HUMINT Instructor & National Security Expert

  • I'm young and looking to get into the intelligence business. Some may call it a spy, but I am very intrigued by being stealth and getting things from people and such. I would like to be a CIA intelligence officer or SPY but I don't know where to look. Also, should I go to an academy school for an advantage to getting into that career and what should I do in college?

  • @SwaaagaasauR Intelligence Operations can begin as a component of university-level studies. I recommend you consider enrolling in a security studies, in other words, Intelligence Operations (national security) degree program despite any previous academic background. There is nothing wrong with enrolling in and starting a new / 2nd degree program. Some people begin their intelligence careers in the military and/or law enforcement. Keep in mind the difference between civilian and military intel.

  • @SwaaagaasauR join the army as a humint collector. you'll get an fbi background search and a secret level security clearance. you'll be trained in combat, urban ops, interrogation TTPs for control of intel assets and handling individuals. you'll probably also be sent to monterrey california to the defence language institute to learn a culture and language. probably either arabic, urdu or persian farsi. it is very difficult and requires some brains. get out & get a civvie humint job

  • I want to be a Marines Intelligence Officer. Could you give any advice or tell me what you do on a daily basis? Also does a Marine Intelligence Officer see combat on the frontllines?

  • @OPplaya11 It depends on what kind of intelligence you would be dealing. In some cases, you might be collecting intel from behind a desk, for example, if you are working with SIGINT, foreign languages decipherment, interrogation, etc. In other cases, you would be in the field and gathering intel, or a combination of being both in the office and in the field. It depends on what you qualify for after enlistment. I hope that helps.

  • @YFLOInternational Yes, Thankyou.

  • I don't think that people just picture the white trench coat guy, of course even for decades the government has been using those from all areas, because people won't suspect this as much.

  • @ancestoralmemory In some respects you are correct, but remember that depending where said individuals are in the world, some people still, despite all our social advances, view the world based on racial+ethnic stereotypes. You might be surprised as to how many people are still very racist and who believe that the only individuals involved in covert and clandestine intelligence gathering operations are white Anglo-Saxon Protestants. Trust me, not a whole lot has changed, per se in that regard.
