What's the point of standing in the way of a motorcade anyway? All that's going to happen is the motorcade will just move right along when the protesters are out of they way and think nothing of it besides there are freaks in this world. What's the point of standing in the way of a motorcade anyway? All that's going to happen is the motorcade will just move right along when the protesters are out of they way and think nothing of it besides there are freaks in this world. Standing in the way of a motorcade accomplishes nothing honey! All it accomplihes is the protesters looking like fools to anybody who sees it on tv.

People contacted the government in all those ways, and in great numbers, in opposition to the Banker takeover bill that was just passed. Guess what, congress sold us out anyways. These people have the right idea, take it to the streets and physically get in their way (I know Palin didn't vote on that but she is part of the same system).

That's exactly why our Democratic Congress has a lower approval rating than the President.
Taking it to the streets and protesting in front of buildings, or events is one thing. But to be a fool and stand in the way of a motorcade is just downright foolish in my book.
