@geneshepherdsr 180hp LOL uh huh out of 3 cylinders maybe the way i'd bet it's turned. no black smoke though but i'd still say not a pinch less than 550 ft lbs of torque and probably a hell ton more
Thumbs up if you love every chance you get to hook up the chain and put your Diesel to the test, especially when you get to film it and put it on YouTube!
no way thats a B8 maybe a D2 since a D1 is a shovel or maybe that d8 was made in 1940 thats why its was called a D8 back in the day lol and thats not impressive lol
nice truck man, love them good ole dodge 12v's, haha yer a pretty big dude to be runnin like that thugh haha, then agian id never say that toy our face haha
buddy that proves fords can just suck cummins balls all day long man id like to see a POS powerstroke do that motor would probably blow ur truck just pulled about 3 or 5 times its recomended towing capacity
A D8 Cat huh? I don't know about that one and if it is, the D8's nowadays is about twice that 44 000lbs mark. Still impressive, rollers and idlers in the cat must have been spinning nicely.
I love this video! Great sound, great quality, no idiots screaming or hollering profanity, and no one swings the camers away right when the action starts. Great video!
that is a d8 and the weight around 44,000. a newer 8 such as a L or N series should be around 80,000. as the machines get newer the horsepower and weight increase. as for tow starting it ive done it with a michigan loader with a 50 hp 6 cylinder gas engine so weather it a dodge, ford, or chevy it doesnt realy matter.
one word to describe Ford trucks: junk. I used to work on Ford Power Jokes and speak from personal experience... Cummins is 1000% more reliable, more fuel efficient, and NOTHING pulls like a Cummins.....and what were Ferd (intentionally mis-spelled) engineers/stylists thinking for the 2011!!?!?!?
i'd say it's 75% traction, 25% torque/transmision. you could have the most powerful truck on the planet pulling it, but if it has no grip what good is it... cool video though, pretty impressive
Hmmmm........Well first I didnt make stament saying the powerstroke or DURAMAX couldnt do it , I dont see a ford or chevy in the video do you ? The only thing I said was "cummins power" .
@jonbar87 Hey I know most people hate on dodge because for some damn reason they can't find anyone to design a decent interior and to hell if they can get a front end right but.. when I love a car, it's for the heart of the vehicle and that's the motor. You might have a point though haha
good thing the blade's up on the D8

finally someone who does something other than burnouts
burnouts: not impressive, something a minivan could do
tow starting a 44000 lb engine: very impressive, I'd like to see a ford or chevy try that!
arnoldt14 11 months ago 2
only a cummins will do that i have a 98.5

That was awesome!
It’s going to be hard for anybody else to top that one.
I'm surprised you didn’t break the chain (LOL).
I'll bet the driver was thinking to himself as he walked back to the camera

kwaky2005 2 years ago 34
@kwaky2005 cummins yes, dodge no. Dodges are junk. the only think they have going for them are dana axles and cummins engines.
jonbar87 4 months ago
@jonbar87 Dodge no longer runs Dana axles
UncleBubbles94 4 months ago
@UncleBubbles94 when did they quit that? What axles do they use now?
jonbar87 4 months ago
@jonbar87 They quit when they went to the common rail Cummins, In 03. They use some off ball brand of axles from china (more than likely).
UncleBubbles94 4 months ago
@UncleBubbles94 just checked into it...they us AAM axles, which are supposedly just as good, if not better than Dana axles..
