Cool video! And it makes it very clear. The line moves very fast—even if it's doubled-up, the most you have to wait is 40 minutes. Like it says, bring you iPod, and a book or newspaper. During the week more shows are available, but if you go early enough, and have a number of choices, you can always get a ticket!

honestly, tkts is a waste of time. the line is always SOOOO long (ive waited max half an hour and the line literally moved six feet...) , and there are a million tourists you'lll have to bump out of your way.. IF ANYONE READS THIS, there are a lot of scalpers that hang around right by the tkts booth.. seriously, they have awesome tickets. also check out broadwaybox (website)--great discounts, plus you can pick where you want your seats!

Not true, It was the middle of the afternoon when me and my sister went to get TKTS tickets and there was no line.
