El otro dia estaba en barracas y me recuesto sobre una placa de bronce, haciendo una cola en el banco... cuando leo lo que decia me emocione, casi se me cae una lagrima. El Almirante Guillermo Brown fue un gran marino, su vida es un ejemplo de buen criterio y coherencia. Con coraje a toda prueba fue muy respetado en su época. Por desgracia Argentina es un país con escasa conciencia marítima, es decir muy pocos saben en que los afecta nuestro mar en su vida cotidiana. Es un desafío para todos nosotros revertir esta situación. El mayor respeto para el Almirante Brown.

The fact is the people on the islands now have been there for almost 200 years, that's longer than any previous coloney. I think how their ancestors came to be there is not really relevant anymore.
The people who live there before the British are now long dead, but the people on the islands today are very much alive. To remove them now would be as wrong as the removal of the people in 1832. Two wrongs don't make a right.
