I respectfully disagree. India was subjected to 200 years of British domination, and 300 years of Moghul domination before that. For a country that was subjugated into poverty, in the 60 years of its freedom it's done an amazing amount of recovery, including contributing to the scientific community. On top of that many of OUR jobs are being resourced there because Indians work hard for cheap. It has a huge population. All this could shoot India into the list of top powers in a short while.

Any number of things could have contributed to this crash. I know there were train strikes going on too...a worker could've neglected what he/she was supposed to do. Lights could've been missed in a fog. Someone could've forgotten to flip a switch somewhere. It is a sad situation.

the visibilty was less than 50 metres and it was an automatic section where this accident happened so obviously it failed..red engine is of the train which rammed into the stationery train...and at 0:35 is the driver stuck in the engine

Im from India and we follow UK english..but sometimes American english gets mixed..and regarding you hating on India and its people..they are not bad, just very poor, and also people from India differ from region to region, you could make a number of new countries from India if anyone wanted, so much is the difference

if trains crashed, that means they were on the same tracks - but, as i can see in the video, there are 2 tracks: 1 for each way(like a road....)
but, i dont know how the rail system works in india, but i do believe that they need to have a dispatcher or someone to give the train operator (the driver) heads-up about things like this....

@rashmishra29 I remember the fogs in Northern India the last time I visited. You couldn't see your hand in front of your face in Agra for the first portion of the day. Any number of things could have contributed to this crash. I know there were train strikes going on too...a worker could've neglected what he/she was supposed to do. Lights could've been missed in a fog. Someone could've forgotten to flip a switch somewhere. It is a sad situation.
