Undercover cops do NOT do street cop work for the very reason that they have to remain anonymous. when you tell someone "you cannot film this" you are telling them that they aren't allowed to see something, because all film is is a documentation of something that happened. the police do this because lawyers can't rip video apart whereas witness statements the lawyers can pick to pieces in defense of the police.

An old lady in a nice neighborhood has had a police car looking for her lost wallet. In the worse neighborhoods, it's lawless as we have virtually no police help. I volunteered with them for 6 years, worked as a first responder for our Housing system, but because I CHOOSE to live in a bad neighborhood I will not receive police assistance.

the public dont need to be policed but protected. I tried to uphold my rights. Its just so happens my skin is brown. And i guess that was a problem. and in the process got "Handled" for parking in my front drive way. It was all caught on tape by my brother. I didn't do anything wrong, i had only asked the reason for me being pulled over, and they couldn't supply one. I have never been in trouble with the law, but being harassed by the WPS is almost a daily occurrence. id like to move 1 day.

WPS has the habit of not wanting to be filmed, because they are usually caught in comprimising positions, so its their need to cover up anything at all that shows what a shoddy police force they are.
