It has the loudest take offs I ever heard by aircraft at air shows along with the Vulcan and Concorde. The only one left that can be seen still around the world today while the Concorde has been grounded retired. The Vulcan can only be seen in Britain now. That will be grounded forever too in a couple of years. So the B1 Lancer bomber will be the only Old Time loudest aircraft left that will be seen air shows in the United States and around the World after 2015.

@BBQFanNo1 Apparently they are fixing a Concorde for the 2012 London Olympics, I don't know if they are or not... Just a rumor I heard... But I really do hope they do...

@mrrentaspace Air Shows suck more today. They even do not have the Hercules do full close up long JATO demos anymore like I saw them do here in Canada. The RCAF 130 Hercules was the first I saw doing the JATO demo. Even better than the Blue Angels Fat Albert because they let the rockets off as soon as it moved from the end of the runway for take off. Not when it lifted off. The rocket bottles seemed larger and louder when I saw the demos back in the 1970s before I saw the Fat Albert doing demos.
