Bananarama were not blacklisted in Canada during the 1990s! That isn't true at all. They received huge radio play and play on muchmusic the nation's music video station at that time. i recall them always being on much music and on the radio for every shade of blue and take me to your heart.

Yeah, record companies and radio stations don't know what is good, they just promote and play all the crap. Shame Bananrama was "blacklisted" in Canada in the 90s. I assume the same thing happened it the us, and the uk too.

Long story, please don't ask, but I know this happened I was told this from a canadian radio station producer way back when they released "help". They refused to play anything new by the girls even though they "loved their version of it".
