  • this guy is fulla shit, it was cold as hell in canada this winter and long too

  • There is "political science" and then there is real science. Man made global warming is political science and that`s all there is to it. Global warming IS a fact but to say we are the cause is disgusting and ignorant to the heliosphere and sun.

  • i have found that there is no ozone layer but rather oxygen makes ozone fact

  • Interesting to note, the older gentlman will not let the younger guys speak or get their point clearly heard, classic reality denier/doublethink attitude

  • The petition can be signed by pretty much anyone with a BSc or MSc in fields as wide as computer science. Even people with MDs (Medical Doctor) can sign. I myself can sign as a computer science graduate, and the excuse they give is that computer scientists have some ingrained insight into climate modeling. Yet we don't.

The only relevant petition would be of climate researchers. Otherwise we might as well let plumbers sign too because they have insights in to flooding or something.

  • I was completely sold on the AGW message for three years, It took me a lot of time at the computer to get it.

So unlike many others, I actually come "from the other side". I was convinced of dangerous man made global warming before I understood the climate history

I warned my neighbour that his house may be flooded by rising ocean levels in just a few years. We live quite close to the sea.

Now I've apologised and was actually a bit embarrassed to find out that I had been buying into this.

  • Considering these so-called scientists can't predict tomorrow's weather with any degree of accuracy, this whole climate change scam is laughable. If they were really concerned about excessive CO2 in the atmosphere they wouldn't be spraying it in the skies to cloud seed.

  • @laijra spraying c02 in the sky would not cloud seed, also there is no proof of that, so don't spread rumors.

  • @charlie123abc360

A UK govt paper claims that cloud seeding is carried out by a number of countries and one of the methods involves the use of dry ice.

  • @laijra my bad

  • @slaneyblooms not to say we shouldn't live in a more sustainable way and preserve and respect the planet, thats a given. But now we have a carbon tax, which is a scam based on fraud and lies, which is crime.

  • @slaneyblooms Read through climategate and you will see that they manually adjusted the figures, and literally made a lot of the important stuff up. They just made it up, to suit the warming story. And they were caught. Have a read of Lewis's resignation letter to Curtis G. Callan, Jr., Princeton University, President of the American Physical Society.

  • @slaneyblooms 'From Hal Lewis letter: Your own Physics Department (of which you are chairman) would lose millions a year if the global warming bubble burst. When Penn State absolved Mike Mann of wrongdoing, and the University of East Anglia did the same for Phil Jones, they cannot have been unaware of the financial penalty for doing otherwise. As the old saying goes, you don’t have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind is blowing. '

  • @slaneyblooms Gavin, how are you keeping? Good I hope. Have you seen this: Telegraph, October 9th, 2010 Professor Emiritus Hal Lewis Resigns from American Physical Society.

'It is of course, the global warming scam, with the (literally) trillions of dollars driving it, that has corrupted so many scientists, and has carried APS before it like a rogue wave. It is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist. '

  • With regard to the Carbon Tax, I think it would be a lot easier for people to swallow if it replaced income tax. The New Economics Foundation is doing research into how it would be possible to start taxing "bads" like pollution instead of taxing "goods" like employment (which keeps the economy going).

  • @JVbin The Irish Government isn't likely to be thinking that far ahead though, so for now they should keep carbon tax between £100-150 per ton of CO2 emitted (Sterling or equivalent). Because £100 is the point at which it becomes cheaper for coal power plants to install CCS technology instead of carrying on polluting whereas £150 is the point at which it does become a noticeable chunk of the taxpayers' bill. (Source: "Sustainable Energy: Without the Hot Air" by David MacKay - available online)

  • @JVbin @JVbin You called us idiots for thinking that we the people would be paying a carbon tax in one of your earlier comments. You stated that it would be just the oil companies. The Irish Times - Saturday, May 1, 2010

Carbon tax on home fuel comes into force. 'HARRY McGEE Political Correspondent

'The carbon tax for home heating oil comes into force today, leading to increases of 6 per cent for natural gas and 8.4 per cent in household fuel bills. '

  • @WeAreChangeEire The thing is... a carbon tax isn't as bad as it sounds. In "Ten Technologies to Save the Planet" by Chris Goodall he calculated that a carbon tax of €50 per ton per person would have a negligible impact on a taxpayer's bills. We're talking cents here. It's really not that bad. Still, any effective carbon tax would have to be tougher on businesses than homeowners. USCAP are willing to pay such taxes. That's not the usual profit-driven, selfish behaviour of corporations.

  • @JVbin A tax that 'would have to be tougher on businesses than homeowners' will raise the operating costs of business, who employ homeowners. Many business will let people go, they will then have less money but higher taxes. There is a global recession on, people are finding it tough as it is. People who say 'it won't be tough on taxpayers' must not be on minimum wage, its a 'Let them eat cake' attitude.

  • @JVbin Also this turned up over the last couple of days which suggests that the temperature records, again, are not valid. website: icecap dot us, Wednesday, October 06, 2010. 'New Zealand NIWA Capitulates on Temperature Record'

  • @JVbin what is your comment on this? TelegraphOctober 9th, 2010

Professor Emiritus Hal Lewis Resigns from American Physical Society.

'It is of course, the global warming scam, with the (literally) trillions of dollars driving it, that has corrupted so many scientists, and has carried APS before it like a rogue wave. It is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life as a physicist. '

  • @WeAreChangeEire If that's his opinion and he felt that strongly about it then fair play to him.

  • @JVbin I don't see how that rocks the core of the AGW hypothesis though. It was just an expression of an individual's feelings about the funding behind it.

  • @JVbin Which taxpayers will it have a negligible impact on, the ones on low income or the ones on high income? Taxpayers is a broad category which includes everyone, what about the poor people, who are the largest group, who can barely afford to live as it is, there is a global recession underway and people can't afford tp pay their mortgages, how can they afford another tax.?

  • @WeAreChangeEire sorry, replied to wrong comment. Anyway, how will a carbon tax solve the problem even if it exists? We are being stampeded into a global tax for spurious reasons. In a few years time if the AGW story still stands as true and the planet isn't miraculously saved what will happen the tax? It will go up, just as every other tax does.

  • @WeAreChangeEire We will be told that the carbon tax is nearly working but it needs to be raised just a little bit, or else the planet will die, and it will all be our fault. Thats some guilt trip. Then it will go up again, and again, like every other tax. They will not stop selling us oil though, it'll just be more expensive.

  • @JVBin As a bit of evidence for this attitude look at the 10:10 advert which was, thankfully, pulled recently. Curb your carbon or we blow you up. No pressure. Ah, sure that was only a joke though. No it wasn't. This is the mentality of a huge amount of people in this movement. There are genuine people, as I believe you are, but we believe the energy of people like you is being hijacked by a lie for profit and control.

  • @WeAreChangeEire There are idiots pushing this, granted. Ones who don't read into it piss me off as much as they do you. But I've read into it & I just find the sceptical arguments far less convincing than the proponents. I'd also feel you're campaigning against genuine problems with globalisation but you're getting side-tracked by this. You'd be better off focusing on the topics of your other videos because this just isn't the same thing. There are far easier ways to just scab taxes off people.

  • @JVbin tax is only the start. If they can convince most people that everyone else is the problem, its peoples selfish western living and too many people that is killing the planet, them humanity turns in on itself, human beings wishing other people would die or stop procreating and using planes. the reality of it is, humanity is not the enemy, it is the solution. if there is an enemy in this case, its agenda 21 and sustainable development. youtube those keywords, google the documents

  • @WeAreChangeEire Humanity isn't the problem & shouldn't be viewed as such, it's the technology we're using. I find though that most of the headings discussed in Agenda 21 sound exactly like what an evil establishment "bent on world domination" wouldn't want. You're making a LOT of assumptions about the motivations behind Green policies. This really comes down to the old ideological conflict between the so-called Free Market and government intervention. Scare-mongerers on both sides, I suppose.

  • @WeAreChangeEire From Agenda 21: "combating deforestation", "combating poverty", "promoting education", "protecting and promoting human health conditions", "sound management of radioactive wastes", "science for sustainable development", "strengthening the role of workers and their trade unions", "strengthening the role of farmers" ...

"Muwahahaha!!! No-one can stop the IMF now!!!"

...Nope. Don't see the connection. I'm sorry. :-(

  • @WeAreChangeEire IF it does exist, the reason for a carbon tax is to incentivise investing in technologies which although necessary haven't had their costs driven down yet. The last few years have shown the "Free Market" can't be trusted for everything. It's helping out technology that we need but there isn't enough consumer demand for yet. Taxing a coal plant for example would eventually make it cheaper for them to store carbon rather than pollute it. Also, costs are coming down all the time.

  • @WeAreChangeEire I think you're being too pessimistic about the carbon tax. It does sound horrible to have another tax on top of all the other shit happening at the moment. But like I said a tax of €50 per ton is somewhere around 25c per person when you do the math. Even for someone on low-income that's nothing. It would be great though if they abolished income tax as outlined by the New Economics Foundation. But that's me being too optimistic.

  • @JVbin It was the expression of a scientist of note. Collect 2500 of these and you have a civilisation changing consensus.

  • @WeAreChangeEire And it was expressing that the position of a scientific establishment of note is corrupt on this issue, because of the huge influx of money generated by the AGW phenomenon, and he was saying that Michael Mann and Phil Jones were exonorated for financial reasons rather than because the claims of fraud against them were untrue. Thats significant.

  • Bono & Ali ought to wake up now!

  • " what published papers have they produced "

this is actually a really good question to put forward and on the subject of peer reviewed publications

please show me the ones related to the safety and efficacy of the swine flu vaccine that was supposedly totally totally safe to inject into my 5 year old child.

very strange silence and gulping noises usually follow now !

  • Anthropogenic Global Warming is the FRAUD OF THE CENTURY. A bunch of real smart guys have figured out a way to make a great deal of money by perpetuating this fraud. Follow the Money. Look at the people who have set up these carbon exchanges. They stand to make a fortune on trading these carbon offsets. The people who are behind this fraud should go to jail for a very long time. They are crimminals in my opinion. It's the scam of the centrury.

  • great, brilliant debating guys

  • Global Warming is not a Lie, check out The "CO2 is Plant Food" Crock .

  • Your last response is exactly the same type of bull we get from politicians. You have admitted already you got it wrong. You are now as credible as the flawed science you oppose so much.

  • Anyone notice how much coller it's been in the UK, past winters as they used to be, more frost than in many previous years.

Climate Change is now the buzzz word from Obama & Downing St. they know warming is natural, just as we do, but use the correct term, climate change while enforcing carbon tax.

No such thing as democracy, no such thing as elected government, politice is 7 religion, devices of "seperating the masses" divide & rule is the only game in town, our votes mean Nothing.

    Peace.

  • I don't think Ireland should be given a Carbon Taxes charge, there is a global warming problem, but Ireland is not at the center of it,our carbon emissions are really low compared to other countries, i have to laugh at this country, we are buying wood chip burners for our home, but in order to run those Chip burners,we have to cut trees down, and if we do that, well the carbon monoxide goes up,they are not replacing the trees?,population, supply and demand of products, cars and electrical are.

  • @Elevationary

the number and size of our roads have gone up a lot too. Some one on here a week or so ago was calling us idiots for opposing a carbon tax since its only the oil companies who will pay it?? Irish Times May 1st :'THE CARBON tax for home heating oil comes into force today, leading to increases of 6 per cent for natural gas and 8.4 per cent in household fuel bills. From today, the levy will apply to kerosene, natural gas, marked gas oil, liquid petroleum gas and fuel oil.'

  • @Elevationary Actually in terms of our individual lifestyles, Ireland has one of the ten highest per-capita CO2 emissions in the world. We're ahead of China, India, Brazil, Mexico, Japan & the UK in per-capita emissions. Also, the wood in wood chip burners would tend to come from managed forestries, trees that had to be felled anyway, it's a form of biomass energy.

  • Solar radiation is stable at the moment.

  • Are you going to clarify that you have made an error on the opening point being debated on this video. You have admitted you have made an error but any new viewers of this video should be aware of it in the summary background text to the video. You cant talk about flawed data and scientific fraud if you dont go out of your way to inform people you used flawed data as your opening argument.

  • @Donatthemill when I get a chance to look at it and see for myself how debunked it is. If its a sham then I will certainly say we mentioned a discredited petition. Where we were talking about flawed data we were talking about the CRU and their use of data that has been manually adjusted. The petition was not the main point of this exchange. Also Gavins point that 99.9% of scientists agree with AGW is not an accurate statement either, our point when mentioning the petition.

  • This guy reveals his bias simply by his reaction to the discussion. Hes talking in circles and saying nothing. He essentially just repeats "I don't believe you and your wrong" in varying ways. When faced with facts he doesn't accept them if they conflict with his view. Then theres the whole theres "many truths" thing, complete bullshit trying to justify his biased view. This is science, there is ONE truth and we are after it. Science is meant to describe truth in the world around us.

  • So so far as solutions we have a tax, a program to spray us with heavy metals, and a UN agenda to reduce the population by a LOT, agenda 21. And because these 'solutions' come from organisations like the AAAS and the UN they are ok? We are being fucked over guys, all of us. Whether its CO2 or not we can agree the planet is filthy, the oil/banking/government cartels are to blame, but we get told the solution is to kill ourselves by various hare brained schemes. Is that really the solution?

  • From the patent:

One proposed solution to the problem of global warming involves the seeding of the atmosphere with metallic particles. One technique proposed to seed the metallic particles was to add the tiny particles to the fuel of jet airliners, so that the particles would be emitted from the jet engine exhaust while the airliner was at its cruising altitude.

The metals named in the patent include, but are not limited to, aluminium and thorium.

  • Where they discuss how to regulate this technique. Not whether its a good idea, how to regulate it. The AAAS for one seems to be in favour of this. Look up a patent granted to Hughes Aircraft company in 1991 titled ‘’Stratospheric Welsbach seeding for reduction of global warming’’

  • If that solution to global warming works will we be on a better planet than before, with all that aluminium in the air? Where have the bees gone by the way? Could the chemtrails have killed them? What will happen to the biosphere if the bees die?

But chemtrails aren't real though are they? Look up a March 2010 paper by the UK House of Commons Science and Technology committee entitled ‘The Regulation of Geoengineering’

  • What madness is that? Do any of you think thats a good idea? Ye say we are conspiracy theorists, well here is a conspiracy theory: Chemtrails. Do ye 1. Think they are real? 2. Think they are a good idea for the environment? 3. Know of any comment by any of the below listed organisations, who are such worthy institutions, about chemtrails? Gavin, do you think injecting 100-200 million tonnes of Aluminium into the atmosphere is a good thing for the environment?

  • When asked about the human health impact of this he said; ‘’The aluminium we’ve only begun to research, and have published nothing’’.

This short clip on youtube includes David Keith actually saying that at the conference.

    /watch?v=PtlOXhSnNw8&feature=player_embedded

  • None of whom have a solution, apart from the AAAS. Here is their solution: There was an American Association for the Advancement of Science conference3 on February 20th 2010 entitled ‘Can geoengineering save us from global warming?’ One of the speakers was David Keith who is one of the main proponents of geoengineering. He stated that geoengineers intend to inject 100-200 million tonnes of aluminium into the atmosphere each year to combat global warming.

  • Depending on the definition of “catastrophic,” I could agree to that. Yet I don’t reject the notion of man-made global warming.Among the organizations that don’t reject the notion of man-made global warming are: the U.S. National Academy of Sciences; The Royal Society; the U.S. National Research Council; the American Association for the Advancement of Science; American Chemical Society; American Physical Society; American Geophysical Union; World Meteorological Organization.

  • (contd)..signatories, and estimated that there are about 200 climate scientists who agree with the statement in the petition among the signatories. And most important by far, the text of the petition is not close to any claim of rejecting the notion of man-made global warming. In the key sentence it says that signatories do not believe that there is compelling scientific evidence that human release of greenhouse gases will cause catastrophic heating and disruption of the earth’s climate........

  • @Donatthemill sorry, I had not read your full comment. The petition, ok we'll throw an olive branch here to show we are not planet hating idiots out to argue for no reason and we can admit when we erred. We mentioned that petition that day because we had seen an article which stated that Nature was going to do an article in June about the petition and that it was a change of tack for Nature. It seems the petition didn't stand up and so the article didn't materialise. Our bad.

  • @WeAreChangeEire Thanks for clarifying that, I thinks its important since you have made a major point of this issue, and you agree that you got it wrong that you should place a note on the video summary explaining your error. Since your argument is all about flawed data and scientific fraud, you are obliged to stand over your mistakes and ensure viewers of this video are notified in advance that your opening argument has been proved wrong. I appreciate your honesty on this. Don

  • The petition “rejecting the theory of human-caused global warming” was sponsored by the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine and signed by more than 31,000 scientists. There are a few problems with this survey that are never mentioned. More than 20,000 of these “scientists” lack PhDs in any field. There was very little quality control: At least one person signed it as Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. Scientific American did the hard work of actually contacting a sample of individual

I mean there are ways to do this. Alternatively we get a tax. What rate of tax is enough to save the world, 5%? 10%? 50%? What happens 3 years down the line when the world is still a mess and CO2 is still apparently the problem? Raise the tax!

  • everyone pay your carbon tax, that will stop global warming! , I saw that Orion Project thing a few months ago, Steven Greer is a hero

  • PLerase check the Orion Project and read the Presentation to the President pdf file there for an overview of the situation regarding suppressed energy systems. This is real, its not theory, the solutions exist. Please also research Stanley Meyers water as fuel technology. Meyer signed a contract with the US dept of Defence for use of this technology and died of poisoning the next day and they are sitting on the tech. The threat to our planet is not CO2, its the crazy people running things.

  • Please allow me to head off the grammer trolls by saying 'Sorry, I was typing fast'. Also, get a life.

  • in all the crying and arguing is the solution? There are energy systems in the secret budget programs run primarily by the US military which have the solution. People will go 'thats a conspiracy theory'. I go ffs, can we grow up now please? The technology we are presented with in our lives is not cutting edge technology. The cutting edge tech is suppressed so that the peopl on top of the 500 treillion dollar asset base called the oil industry get to stay there and shaft our entire

  • @WeAreChangeEire

species. Tbis is all being exposed rapidly, and if the green movement, big as it is, would get their heads out of their asses and demand this technology we would get it. Instead they are being fooled into taxing themselves, and begging for it. The bitter iriony. Reality check please. The people on top of the oil business are not going to be taxed away. The only way to get rid of them is an alternative to oil.

  • We see the fantastically well meaning and intentionmed and passionate desire and efforts of millions of people to save our precious planet being channelled into a cul de sac which will impoverish us all, reduce our freedoms but worst of all will still not solve the problem. None of the Green camps supposed solutions will solve this problem and ye all must know it. The fugures do not add up. Mankind, all of us, are desperate for this problem to be solved but where,

  • That falls in with Agenda 21 quite erfectly so we are suspicious of this angle. But overall the way to get rid of oil is an alternative to oil. WE do not see any of the Green spectrum of people with a real alternative but we do see the people behind the scam are sitting on the solution and so we wonder why the Greens don't ever mention that? Then we look at the funding of people like greenpeace and it all starts to run back to the same criminal banking cartel.Controlled, ineffective, for show.

  • are sitting on the technology to solve the problem. We Are Change have the attitude we have because we have discovered that this is true and we see your movement as outrageously frustrsting because it does not have a solution. It has some lofty ideas that will not work, sorry but they won't. You will nopt tax the oil industry away. All that will do is create more poor people, who will still impact the environment negatively. It will also, likey, kill a lot of people.

  • And do you think that the alternatives offered, wind and solar mainly, can ever provide the required capacity? And do you think that a better solution, an actual solution, would be to expose these people, remove them, and get access to the advanced energy systems that they have in the black budget military projects. The same people running the oil and banking cartels and the western governments, telling us to reduce our carbon use at the sa,me time as they sell us ever more expensive oil

  • Coming from the angle of realising there is a group pulling the political strings and what we get in politics is mostly pantomime we see the same group of criminals behind the banking scam, the illegal wars and push for global government behind the carbon tax. Do you not think your movement may have been usurped by those who would benefit from a global tax? Do you see these people getting us off oil at the same time as they invade oil rich countries and steal that oil, to sell to us?

  • Gavin we appreciate you share our concerns about big government. I came at this from being on the same page as you actually, totally on board with the climate change train of thought. When I looked into who is behind I slowly had to change my mind. Whether or not CO2 IS causing this (I don't think it is the main driver although I used to but we will not agree on this) Do you honestly think a carbon tax will solve the problem? Is it the solution? A tax?

  • Please explain to me why other planets in the solar system are also warming at a similar rate to earth.

  • bahahaha lets agree to disagree lmao so political and gets NOWHERE!!!! fuck if this is who we have running the world no wonder its going to shit!!

  • Gavin Harte is a dick and behaves immaturely

  • We just had the warmest June ever in the history of mankind. Warm enough for ya?

  • @Rodney92

Except during the medieval warming period. Will a tax on carbon make it cooler though or will it just make a few rich people richer?

  • fact is the planet is getting colder deal with it

  • u stick on the planet LOL

  • Also, what's with this shite at the end about "opposing truths"? I thought you were attacking him for the science. Now you're grilling him on fucking philosophy!!! I could raise some point about relativism, post-structuralism & the unstable nature of Absolute Truth, but that's not what you set out to make this video for! "Gavin Harte: Wrong on Science AND Metaphysics." Fuck's sake! HAHAHA XD

  • The Climate change CO2 crowd are criminal in their lack of proof....because confronted, as this gent was here, he never wanted to hear it.....

  • So when Governments tax us... Not the oil companies responsible for this, but US... and not just in the countries with larger emissions but ALL of us... Who exactly will get our money and how will they receive it? Via a Swiss bank account of some description or in a bag with a dollar-sign on it? THINK, you morons! You actually think you're more intelligent for believing this?!! If you don't believe in the science that's one thing, but How did you fall for that con? Pathetic.

  • @JVbin I just cannot resolve the fact that the Earth has seen CO2 at 7,000ppm with no detriment to climate, and in the Great depression, when fossil burning was at an all time low, made no impact on world CO2 levels. The carbon cycle is obviously more complex then our current understanding. To spend vast sums of money on some half-baked theory is insane.

  • Not to forget volcanoes; the second most prominent gas emission from volcanoes is CO2 (after H2O). I also find using 13C as an anthropogenic marker is a fool’s game, there are a sizable number of natural sources of low 13C CO2 out there that are indistinguishable from anthropogenic sources. So measuring the CO2 when mixed into the atmosphere is pointless; if human CO2 dropped dramatically during the great depression, where is the signature in the record?

  • @BloodguardGorak Natural emissions are larger than human emissions of greenhouse gases. The difference is they're absorbed back by the planet again whereas human emissions stay in the atmosphere.

"Burning fossil fuels is undeniably increasing the CO2 concentration in the atmosphere and in the surface oceans. No climate scientist disputes this fact. When it comes to CO2 concentrations, man is significant."

-David MacKay, "Sustainable Energy: Without the Hot Air" (It's a good read.)

  • @JVbin I wish to test the claim, by argument that "Man-made emissions of CO2 are responsible for climate change" Obviously a certain amount of global warming is good for life on our planet. But at what CO2 density does the beneficial become harmful? In geological terms the level of CO2 is very low, so are our emissions insignificant? Is there a case that CO2 is responsible for any of the climate change seen over the last two hundred years?

  • @BloodguardGorak If there wasn't... If there wasn't any case strong enough to convince a majority of scientists to urge action on this issue... Then we wouldn't be having this dialogue right now, would we?

  • All tax is theft.Ask yourself, have i got a choice? Is this voluntary? Only non coersive acts of payment class as non tax payments. Taxation is theft plain and simple. Anyone who believes in warming has a doggy lead on their back and is an easily manipulated neanderthaller who is leading the people of the earth back to a new dark age willingly! But they don't care because their god gaia will reward them with many shiny things and some nice hard things up their jaxies!

  • @scrufduf ...And environmentalists are the scare-mongerers? OK

  • 350 Scientists out of the 2500 names, the rest were non-scientists ! Cognitive Dissonance in action

  • Just saw the link to The Great Global Warming Swindle in the description. That movie has been debunked so many times, it's really quite pathetic you linked to that. lulz

Stick to harassing Rockefeller cuz you're really wasting humanity's time here.

  • What I don't understand is the the agenda which is proposed here.

Gain more control over people <= Someone watch too much Glen Beck?.

How does removing yourself from an electricity grid translate to giving more control to government and multinationals.

If anything it leads to a more decentralized country.

Then there are other issues such as ocean acidification which is largely ignored by climate deniers. What the hell are you trying to accomplish?

  • @MrMcQ2u You hit the nail on the head. Well done sir :) The best way of stopping climate change is to stop using fossil fuels & source your energy from clean sources. It's just changing where we get our electricity from. How is that handing over control to govts/TNCs when renewables are self-replenishing & installable anywhere?

  • @MrMcQ2u Also, why do they give such a massive shit about carbon tax? Surely that would affect big oil companies most of all, moreso than decent Average Joe hard-working taxpayers such as the refined intelligensia that posted this video? There are easier ways of scabbing taxes than fabricating YEARS of scientific research. The longer we delay action the more we will have to sacrifice personally.

In summary, to the posters of this video I ask, "Why do you care?"

  • Alas, there is no money in NOT doing anything.

  • The conspiracy that "climate change is a hoax", is a hoax... which is a conspiracy. What's so genius about it is that people who are duped by media sensationalism that has no relation to the actual science that supports climate change, are convinced that they are free-thinkers, that they're seeing behind the lies of the media. It works so well... not to say there aren't sensationalists on the environmentalist side but JEEZ! I wouldn't believe in AGW if I didn't think I'd turn into one of you. :P

  • HAHAHA LMFAO XD

4:37-4:50 is absolutely typical of a climate change "debate". This video was hilarious for the fact you put it up thinking you grilled him with some hard facts. Thinking you're freeing people's minds by bringing up disproven bollocks. If I ever gave you much thought you'd make me ashamed to be Irish. This was shit & it is with thoughts of you that I shall laugh myself to sleep at night. See ya :)

  • At what temperature should the globe be?? Constant room temp?? Global warming liars are money grabbing mass hysteria spreading bastards.

  • @dbeasht You're kind of like stupid... but without the binary opposition of intelligent to compare it to. See ya

  • @JVbin thanks JV. You're a powerhouse of knowledge. See you ;-)

  • @dbeasht Knowledge that's just pro-AGW propaganda anyway, so you don't have to listen to ANYTHING I say ;) Good luck getting through life like that. :) See ya

  • @JVbin I'm not trying to change peoples point of view. Your point of view is valid for your life. And thanks again for wishing me good luck with my life. ;-)

  • Killing people in concentration camps was once regarded as a 'conspiracy theory' in WW11 Germany by the non-believers that didn't question their leadership. The New World Order was once dismissed as a 'conspiracy theory' now openly promoted. The Israeli Bombing of the USS Liberty In international waters was once regarded as a 'Conspiracy Theory'.

  • Conspiracy Theory is usually a way of governments & large corporations to dismiss facts without drawing further public attention to them. Name changes are often used by the above too when people 'have' discredited them such as, Blackwater-changed to Xe. Union Carbide-changed to DOW int. Torture-changed to Enhanced Interogation. etc. Now they try & bring in Bills/laws such as H.R.5501 to try & block a UN investigation into the GAZA flotilla attacks & put gagging orders on the press like in the UK

  • If people critisise the zionist political ideology (such as Israeli foriegn policies) some are met with the cries of Anti-Semite or Jew Hater. They try & twist what is critsism of & political ideology (Zionism-founded by Theodor Hertzl in the latter 19C.)& make some connection to a religious believe such as the Jewish religion. But not all zionist are Jewish & not all Jews support zionism so that arguement falls flat too. It's all about media mind control & public deception.

  • "They eliminated the Medieval Warm Period altogether, how is that not fraud"

    "TEEEHEEEEHEEEEEE"

Nice response, totally proved AGW there Gavin...

  • "there are OPPOSING truths.." lol.. WTF??? He is defo a Common Purpose mental midgit.. Talk about the ultimate expression of cognitive dissonance??? Fair play lads, cause I would struggle to stay calm in the face of that kind of Blind Ignorance and plain Stupidity...

  • Good work. Global warming is a con.

  • @Eriksz Data measured & peer-reviewed by thousands of scientists from all over the world, was made up so that Governments would have a reason to tax us when they could have just thought of something much simpler? You're like stupid... but without the binary opposition of intelligence to compare it to.

  • @JVbin have you studied the Data collated by Christopher Monckton? I'd be interested to hear your opinion of this brief summary watch?v=7W-BePJOLbw

    ahre

  • @TheHolySpirit OK, I'll watch that. Will you watch my video? Here's a video thoroughly debunking Lord Monckton's "research". watch?v=JfA1LpiYk2o You watch the two parts of that video & I'll watch yours. Agreed?

  • @TheHolySpirit True enough about Al Gore. But quotes people out of context. Focuses on IPCC Reports from the early 90s to show them as "inconsistent" with regard to certainty & the Medieval Warm Period, instead of just updating their data with better research which is what actually happened. His survey of scientific papers sounds so dodgy & is made all the creepier by a lack of documentation of the main topics to support it. Solar activity reduced in the 80s, it's not responsible for warming.

  • @TheHolySpirit ...My opinion on that video of Monckton's research. For a 500-character limit, you can't say I wasn't concise. For further information, I refer you to that video I sent you a link to & humbly ask that you now return the favour.

  • @JVbin You're a fuck knuckle. Fuck off.

  • @Eriksz *sniggers* "Fuck knuckle"?!! ...Sounds sexy. ;)

  • Absolutely brilliant! You guys were amazing. Keep it up

  • He reminds me of Dougal from Father Ted! Twat!

Plus he deals in absolutes! "do you AGREE that CO2 increases global temperatures!"

THERE ARE A LOT OF TRUTHS????!!!!!

  • He reminds me of Dougal from Father Ted!

  • the guy wouldnt let them talk. he would just push it off and say it wasnt credible. hahaha pathetic.

  • @Zachdudeio2 and here he says it 8:49 there can be 2 opposing truths. so i guess it could also be true that was is peace, ignorance is strength, and freedom is security. The orwellian era may soon be upon us, this is a classic case of doublethink.

  • @Zachdudeio2 That's because it wasn't credible & we're sick of humouring you. See ya

  • What a jerk! I loved how the WereAreChange guys came across as completely rational, backing up their claims with examples of data they had seen. The other guy was irrational and seemed to be exhibiting the behaviour of someone in denial protecting a deep seated delusion. He couldn't actually argue for his corner of the ring because he's obviously never thought about it deeply before, he's just blindly accepted the "facts" he's been presented without actually checking if they are true or not.

  • @TheHolySpirit They weren't citing data! They were citing petitions, e-mails, media controversies. The Oregon Petition that's been completely discredited is still sadly cited as some kind of victory? It's complete & utter horse-shit, stud-manure of the worst kind. They weren't citing data. They're full of shit. Facts & opinions, are you getting those mixed up again?

  • oh my GOD!! I can't even watch this.. I want to jump in and punch this duchebag! I think the Global Warming supporters live in a complete fantasy world.. He must be getting a cut of the carbon tax.. How people refuse reality like this is beyond me..

  • @esayward "He must be getting a cut of the carbon tax"? You're wrong. I must be getting some of that beautiful money too since I've decided to start talking to you & disagree with you, just like HE DID. You're full of shit. See ya

  • Gavin Harte came up to us while one of our number was talking to a TD in a pre arranged meeting and, upon hearing what he was saying, proceeded to call us all nut bags, physically assaulted two people, pushed cameras away, slapped people and basically was a total dick. That is why we were somewhat 'lively' with him.

  • @WeAreChangeEire He was a total dick? Well, monkey see monkey do. Frankly climate change denial bollocks is an assault to human intelligence. I guess he got angry because we're waiting for people like you to make up your minds before the rest of the world is allowed to do anything about this. In a moment of frustration he must have just forgotten you are beneath contempt and aren't worth sighing about.

  • @WeAreChangeEire Hi Gavin Harte here, well we had the sport didn't we!

I think I will stick to the general thrust of my argument that we will probably have to "agree to disagree"

Funny though that you put this video up July 13, six days after the independent review of "ClimateGate" Based on the results the jury is with me! 1 nil to me..

If the invitation still stands to discuss our differing points of view in a less charged environment I'm up for it.

Btw I'm not a total dick! You hardly know me.

  • @slaneyblooms

ah now gavin we both know that was as independent as the chilcot inquiry!

and your behaviour wasn't exactly befitting of the standard agenda 21 puppet now was it? you did step a little down the ad hominem path. al gore would be ashamed. course he doesn't exactly do interviews on this stuff anymore. wonder why he keeps getting accosted... hmmmmm

  • @WeAreChangeEire

Hmmmm!!! argumentum ad hominem. Well all I'll say to that is quod erat demonstrandum. All the best.

Btw it is 3 reports that have published exonerating the University of East Anglia research but I guess you don't believe any of them. That is be 3-nil to me!!!

On a more positive note I would be supportive on the lot of your big government concerns but I'm afraid I can't support your view on the effects of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.

  • Global Warming is a hoax, just another way to try to gain more power!

  • hehe that man reminds me of the monty python scene when the pet salesman tries to sell a dead parrot ;) "oh no it´s not dead it´s just resting" ;)

  • Oh and btw CO2 has an insulating effect not a warming effect. The sun warms the atmosphere.

  • @brianrss Right, so by that logic, it would be over-simplified thusly: if there's too much CO2, there'll be too much insulation, the global climate will warm, weather will destabilise, our civilisation won't be able to cope and we'll die.

  • @JVbin yeah it would be oversimplified

  • I agree with you guys that the climate change science has been warped but i really dont see what talking trash like this back and forth "you talked over me - no, you talked over me" back and forth achieves.

Both of you lost your composure, and really, i find it hard to respect you guys telling him you're wrong because of x/y/z blah blah blah, - no im not wrong - yes you are - no no no - yes yes yes - .... honestly stfu and give me some more intelligent dialogue to listen to.

  • good job

  • Yes, the globe is warming... But so is the other planets in the solar system. To just look at the earth and blame humanity is a narrow way of making the argument.

  • @Avatarclone I am afraid not, only a few solar system objects are warming, others are cooling. Most of the 200+ major solar system bodies are stable in temperature. If it was the Sun getting hotter then they all should be warming at the same time. All the ones that have been identified here as warming are warming on different timescales and for perfectly well known reasons that has nothing to do with the Sun - like they are moving into the phase of their orbit where they are closer to the Sun.

  • You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it.

  • he called them conspiracy theorists...

  • good work guys,

  • WELL DONE LADS

  • yer man is heavily immersed in satans ballbag!!! There is two types of people on this planet those who know carbon tax, water rates and global warming is a scam dreamt up in a bilderberg meeting and those who suck satans cock the dickhead with the grey hair falls into de latter :(

  • Look at this scumbag squirm! keep up the good work lads!

    WE ARE CHANGE

    DOWN WITH THE SYSTEM

  • It is always the same with these criminal liars.....the world is coming to an end, only I have the solution, and the solution is pay me lots of money and give me unlimited control.

Yeah, it is been warming and it also has been cooling....because that is what climate does..... CHANGE. Take the most obvious thing, and twist as many lies out of it as you can. These climate change idiot alarmists are absolutely ridiculous.

  • @bbnemesis123 Tell me about it I've just been talking to one ! ;-)

  • @bbnemesis123 "I have the solution, and the solution is pay me lots of money and give me unlimited control." I assume this refers to the oil industry? They take lots of our money, make huge profits, pay no taxes, get government subsidies, and then fund a bunch of liars to pump out propaganda that dimwits swallow because they dont want to believe warnings

"We are Change" what a joke! You are for the status quo - a more apt slogan is "Exxon please take more of our money while killing us"

  • well done...

the fella in the jacket obviously has a stake in the game....as in job....

many different truths?...well now laddies...doesn't that just say it all.

    sun cycles..period..all else is narcissism...

  • @ninesticks Solar cycles dont explain global warming - see an 11-year cycle in the global temperature data? Nope? Idea dead.

  • Is this guy for real his answer for everything was "ah lads"

the reason Canada had a silty warmer winter was because of the El Nino google it

keep up the good work lads

    galway

  • You guys have to remember, your not dealing with rational people. These are ideologues, not scientists. Real scientists know that there are no permanent conclusions in science.

  • @heyheymonkees The day time is light because of radiation from the Sun. That has been a true conclusion since the Earth formed - 4 billions years seems pretty permanent to me. More?

    The Earth orbits the Sun

    The Moon orbits the Earth

The Earth is more massive than the moon

The Sun is more massive than the Earth

I can produce millions of things like this - "no permanent solutions in science" - hogwash.

  • interesting this human is arguing for his own demise. a kind of collective self delusion and suicide.

  • I don't remember being their.......

  • So the more taxes the safer the planet haha come on as if stealing money from the public will cool the planet politicians are criminals expense stealing bandits good video lads.

  • they lie because they want to tax us so they can get richer. they are criminals.

  • Thank God there's more pepole in Ireland who like me are woken up about whats goinng on ..keep making great vids!! :)

  • @qaesar09 I thought Ireland had a half way decent educational system especially in engineering and sciences - must be de
