  • Ah good times, saw King Kurt the first time supporting The Meteors at a club called Extremes on West St (that become part of an amusement arcade) very early 80's. Along with the music, it was the food fight. flower, bake beans and dead rabbits that created a metamorphosis from Psychobilly to a sillybilly over night. Looks to me they had a right good laugh doing it.

It's only rock and roll after all.

    There's no it's 'only IT'

    What happens after that (!)?

Right love let's go for a dance 'cos I just saved the network from a trojan 'orse.

    Let's dance.

  • Did they do 'Zulubeat', 'Wreck a party Rock' and 'Hey Bo Diddley' at this gig?

  • Hey Bo Diddley, where'dya get that song? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was 16 back in 87 round a mates digs in Crawley with a bunch of us Mods partying on home made cider and lager and fighting to King Kurt records.......with a bunch of 18+ year old 'Defiance' scooter club nutters! It was scarey!!! and a lot of fun!

  • FUCKING BRILLIANT!

  • Cool song.

  • saw these at the lyceum they were supporting bo diddley and sang a song for him great times.

  • snap

  • That was a fantastic night, Loved them and loved Bo's talking guitar. I was a young 'slip of a thing' back then. So glad I saw both of 'em. Bands were allowed to do mucky stuff back in the day (True Life Confessions) - too bloody 'Health & Safety' these days. No one died for Christ's sake! Except maybe from having a damn good time.

  • Great band.. Loved the spinning wheel of misfortune at the KlubFoot.. Great memories.. My old man never could understand why my mates and I wore dresses and Docs to the gig...

  • We were supposed to support John Kurt and co. one Saturday in Brixton at the Whitehorse in November 1985!

Our band was Vince Vortex and the Cucumbers...John and Maggott...you may remember Steve Pipers Band from Maidstone?
