Nobody ever said this movie was historically correct. In my opinion that would have made for a worse movie. It wasn't made to be a movie with a good plot or anything like that. haha this movie is not Bullshit. Sure it is highly exaggerated, but this battle did occur and the Persians were on a compaign to further its empire.

They were the evil force and the Greeks were a democracy, fighting to maintain their freedom. It's simple history, which obviously too many few people bother to learn nowadays.

This battle has been and will be a HUGE inspiration for generation
