  • are all of these mods tcs mini legal?

  • @traindude95 Yes they are. The only changes were to springs, oil, tires and inserts. Now for the M-chassis class Tamiya has gone to a premounted tire so that helps to eliminate one piece of the tuning puzzle.

  • hey there. I was trying to make my car to have the exact spec as yours. As I was looking for the red springs(4pcs), I came across a confusion. Which red springs did you use from, the #53440 or #53163?

  • thanks, as for the shock, are you using the tamiya #53619?

  • @Dets6 I had to think about this one for a minute. I forgot that this came with friction shocks. I actually used the kit shocks from my TA-05 v2 since I used TRF shocks on there. 50598 I think is the P/N but the ones you listed will work very well.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom

I just bought the kit and in the midst of building it so I wish to upgrade where necessary. I heard you mentioned in the video that they suggested the oil damper but wasn't clear which model.will the red springs suits the #53619? tq

  • @Dets6 Yes, those shocks will work and those springs will fit right on there. I was trying to look up the stock 05 v2 Shock's P/N and the description wasn't obvious. I thought what I listed was the shock but the CVA mini shocks will work well. There's also the super-dialed TRF Aluminum shocks too :)

  • @HorizonRCdotCom

Hey, thanks for the recommendation. If I have greater budget, ill get the #53619 else the #50598. Keep up the good work man, cheers!

  • @HorizonRCdotCom

#50598 is a damper collar (CVA MINI SHOCK UNIT II V)

  • Nice review. What shock oil did you use on the car? do you have the part number?tq

  • @Dets6 I used Losi 40WT oil, LOSA5226

  • what is its top speed in mph or kmh?

  • @lloydy2211 Out-of-the-box speeds would be about 25-30MPH

  • cheers! ive just won one of these good to know what im getting. any idea if i would be able to get different body styles for this chassis and where from?

  • @markbob917 Yes, most M-Chassis bodies should fit.

  • Nice review. Next time you're in southern california, I'll shoot your video for you instead of having to shoot it yourself. I'm a pro and I'll do it for a model!

  • Hello, I really enjoyed watching your reviews. They have been most helpful. Keep up the good work.

  • Great review, I really enjoyed watching it! :D

  • Thank you !

  • would the DX3E with the sr300 and s200 work with this setup?

  • @bradykhuber Yes it would, although for the price you may want to check out the DX3C too!

  • OMG... this guy sounds like he is in love with the car and the track... I bet he is dating Roger from Tamiya...

  • @HHewson626 It's my favorite track I have ever run on, I have never denied it.

  • I just bought one last night and can't wait to run it. Thanks for the video !

  • have you ever given a negative review?

  • just curious if you know of a rwd chassis that has the same wheel base as this? im looking to build a ford f100 using a tamiya midnight pumpkin body.

  • FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! TAMIYA CONNECTORS!!! AAAHHHHHHHH MY EYES!!!!! GO AND BUY SOME DEANS

  • Why not review the M06 since it's the latest release? The M05 is like 2 years years old.

  • @timbulb This was a re-upload of the original video. There was a technical issue that required us to re-upload the video.

  • @HorizonRCdotCom Does that explain the unevenly cut-off jeans shorts? haha not really.

  • @timbulb If they actually were cutoffs perhaps but they're not.

  • FWD?

  • @Tmaxxnc Yes, the M05 is front wheel drive.
