Who Completes Kumon?

i don't quiet understand why must force kid do homework more every day, even in sunday, when school homework is just as many as kumon, i hope kumon think about the fact that kids need a break to seek there creativity, because life is not all about math.... :)

i did kumon when i was 4 years old now im 9 years old and i only passed 13 levels and then i quit because i had so much school homework,and like 30 pages of kumon + math which =60 pages and i have right now 6 hard homework sheets

I am turning 14, and I am on K level. Kumon is annoying to do at home, and the only time I am focused on the work is when I am there.

I guess you could say that it doesn't count that I am on K because they skipped me through half of J for some reason, and no test for J level, just went straight on to K :P.

Kumon has helped me so much with math. I only see it not helping people if they have already done the stuff at school.

great! you must be making good waves in school as well. probably, a standout. just a tip: use the learning and development principles you've experienced in Kumon for learning and mastering sports, martial arts (self-defense), making friends, or leadership (self-) development.

the beauty of this story is that Kristy had difficulty in Math when she was Grade 2. that's not exactly the characteristic of a genius. Kumon therefore is even for non-geniuses.

She may have been already good at math EVEN IF SHE "HAD DIFFICULTIES" in second grades. In education the most important thing is motivation.

If you think math is hard, in 99% of the cases, its only because you have had only bad teachers. I really mean it!

i actually edited out the story of a Hong Kong Chinese who had Math grades in the line of 70 in Gr4. While on his Kumon journey in Gr5, he posted grades of 98 and 100 in Math.

so that underscores my point on non-geniuses.

When i was in 1st grade i cried because it was my first time to be left by a teacher with my work unfinished (division)but when i was an incoming grade 2 pupil my mom enrolled me in kumon and i know it worked because i always get the second highest in our CEM test... no one in our class can beat our first honor when it comes to math...BUT SOMETIMES SHE ALSO ASKS ME ABOUT SOME MATH PROBS.
