When you practice do you play lots louder than this? Ive been taught that if you cant play it ridiculously loud, dont play it at all (in regards to heavier music, of course). It seems like you play consistently loud (in a good way...maybe "solid" is a better word), but maybe not 100 %. I understand that since your recording for a cover that youll want perhaps a bit more clarity that your willing to sacrifice volume. What do you recommend?

He uses a Zildjian oriental China Trash 18 inches (i think?) (awesome cymbal btw) and it looks like a coted powerstroke 3 on the snare. Hope this Helps!

@JORDANROUBIQUE if he dosent answer.... the mics will run about 60+ for each and youll probably need around 6 so youre starting at a little under 400... then youll need an interface/mixer for all the mics to go into and you wont find any for under 100. then 100 minimum for software.... thats not including drums or computer obviously
