I'm Belgian, & fuck everyone who doesn't know that we're a country or whatever, like we wouldn't know what the difference is between the USA or America, seriously?
indeed my dear belgian friend, belgium above everything, belgique en haut le tout, belgië boven alles, fuck yeah, everybody is jealous because they live in a country with a king or a republican system that fucks with them like in america, in belgium the people made the country, en what make belgium so great the people of course, i'am born in belgium, i live in belgium and i will die for my belgium, fuck yeah : )
@koerund indeed my dear belgian friend, belgium above everything, belgique en haut le tout, belgië boven alles, fuck yeah, everybody is jealous because in there country they must listen to a king or a republican system that fucks with them like in america, in belgium the people made the country, en what make belgium so great the people of course, i'am born in belgium, i live in belgium and i will die for my belgium, fuck yeah : )
@MRJokieJoker No, the people of Belgium didn't make Belgium, but the big countries in Europe did. It's a myth, one of fake sentimentalism, that the flemish people wanted to get seperated from the dutch. The dutch king wanted a fair country for everyone: dutch and flemish, protestants and catholics. He wanted schools free from any bias, from any religion for everyone. Protestants next to catholics. Catholic church in Flanders didn't want that.
@MRJokieJoker What's more, the king wanted Dutch to be the spoken language in those schools, much to the dislike of the french bourgoisie, who considered dutch to be an inferior language. The church and these francophone bourgoisie opposed to the dutch. The british saw a big chance here, because the united netherlands were a big economical rival to them. Split up, that country was less of a rival. So if you're so sentimental about Belgium, learn your history first about this artificiel country
@NoKoffiekoekenForYou Well then afterall we had fight for or freedom, you say the big countrys in europe makes belgium, whats that for nonsense if they realy made belgium where was the contract then with the independence declaration, there is none only after our fight there was un surender then there was a contract, so actuely we made it by fighting seek it on internet belgium and french revolution
@MRJokieJoker Are you kidding me? Have you EVER EVER had history? Talk to me when you're educated (and can spelle/conjugate verbs). Ask yourself: who fought, and who signed the declaration? Was that a democratic decision? It is so clear to me you know nothing about history whatsoever.
@NoKoffiekoekenForYou who fought? simple we flemish people/walloon people 2 who signed the declaration probably we and the dutchmen was that a democrat decesion yes, 4) has big countrys in europe like you said made it FUCKING NOOOO DUDE, you say europe made belgium in the comments under here, dude i think you needs to learn some history why would germany and france gives a fuck about that 5) was netherland directly okay with that, i dont think so,
@MRJokieJoker Because after Napoleon, the big countries gathered in Vienna (1815) and 'divided' Europe, in order to have a complete powerbalance. They made Europe. As you can imagine, each country wanted to divide it in their favour. At first, the united Netherlands were created as a buffer between France. But as I've already explained to you, the french upper class and the catholic order didn't like being ruled by the dutch.
@MRJokieJoker The french were rather happy to split the country up: Less of a buffer, a smaller country in their way. The British were, as I've already explained, eager to split an economic rival up. They wanted to be top notch again. So, in 1830, the independance of Belgium was signed in London. If you con't believe me, ask it at a professor of history. I can tell you, I've certainly did, considering half my family are historians. So get rid of your sentimentalism, embrace facts!
@NoKoffiekoekenForYou well then i did search it and everything what you said is true but you forget 1 thing in that story, on 23 september 1830 the revolution started out in brussel 2) the temporary regime declared the independence on the 4 oktober 1830 en on the 7 februari 1831 the national congress verify together with the other countrys the progressive constitution of belgium, so conclusion: first we protest with a revolution after it, we had probably a fight because of the revolution
@NoKoffiekoekenForYou and because we let heard our voice to the others, they where probably scare of another fight with a lot of citizens/belgians so they thought well belgian is actualy a good country, they are friendly en smart, so we dont have to fight with them, en then they say wel lets make un international congress en there all the countrys signed the constitution of belgium, so actualy the first thing we did was fighting for our rights en then there was un independence
@NoKoffiekoekenForYou so we actuely made it by fighting, if we didn't done that we where still a part of netherland my belgian historian guy, so you are right but me to
@NoKoffiekoekenForYou if a country is at the point of loosing a piece of it, i dont think they directly would agree with it, and finally 6) you say i can spelle/conjugate english its true i can't write it properly down on a white paper, but how gives a fuck i can talk it that's the important of it, that also means for french, ask YOURSELF whats better: that you can talk it or write it properly? don't think to long

And why wouldn't duvel be a good beer? I love it. Good strong taste, much better than leffe (which i don't like, there is to much taste of the oak barrel in it.)
