  • @Musicdudeyoutub Where is the genetic modification in this video? If you consider grafting a form of genetic modification, then your definition is a little too loose, and you've been eating "GM" foods all your life.

  • Vegetable gardeners can also graft tomatoes for disease resistance in the home garden. The Betterheirlooms website sells a nice little kit that has all the supplies you need, or you can gather your own supplies. Some people use the small swizzle drinking straws or bits of foil to hold the cut ends together. Just make sure you find a way to keep very high humidity 80 percent or more, for several days as they heal.

  • Some nice rootstocks that confer disease resistance or increased vigor are Maxifort, Beaufort, or Hawaii 7996.

  • what type of variete is the rootstock ?
