so, to be clear, can you listen to your spotify music through your iphone, or is it literally a remote that changes the song playing through your computer. because if i'm at home in the kitchen or something, and i want to listen to my music, i can't because its in the other room on my computer. does this allow me to access and play my spotify library/playlist straight through my iphone?

I want it the other way around! Control Spotify on the iPhone, which I connect to my stereo...why the hell shouldnt that work!
