Hitler, Stalin etc, tortured their opponents to death, and that was the end. But god tortures his opponents for all eternity. HOW can you ever reconcile this with the idea of an " all-loving" father ?

this song always makes me cry.. because people don't take the time to listen, see, and hear "the hurting". it just reminds me how much the world needs GOD, instead they are too busey with their lives to stop and to look around and listen. no matter how much they try to pretend that its not there...its happening.SAD, but they just choose to ignore it.

I love this Song... I was in a Christmas Pagent and they split this song so there was some solos in it and I got one but then She moved me to a different song so I was like Disapointed because I like this song a lot and I got but then Was moved from it... Very nice ... great photos ... especially love the one of the firefighter (or was she an EMT?) hugging the person in civilian clothes - shows the true spirit of what the song is trying to express - do what is unexpected, because that is what SHOULD be expected in this world. It should be common place to see random acts of kindness and service - EVERYWHERE, all the time - not just when the mood, or guilt, strikes us.

This is the best song ever! they did it at my choir christmas concert and it is just really touching and meaningful i love it! I wish more people would "carry their candle" and "go light the world" I really think we as christians need to do more to show others Gods light!
