The abuse of the bereaved by Crown mercenaries is not confined to Ireland. After the death of my late father K.C. Couch, following a breach of duty by NHS staff, his widow and I were descended upon by Plymouth Social Services who tried to carry out a "financial assesment" in the presence of staff from a commercial care company to which Plymouth City Council subcontract care services. This was supported by former Royal Marine Sergeant Morley, D&CC shouting and making emotionally abusive remarks.
