  • i dont think he has done the bowflex for 34 weeks but i think he has owned the bowflex for 34 weeks.

  • lmao nice entrance

  • Hey Frank, Keep up the good work! Just one suggestion, look into the diet aspect of getting in shape because its half the battle. And you don't have to eat like a bird to see dramatic results. Read up on the body for life diet and there's quite a few books out there that are good and eat 6 smaller meals a day to increase your metabolism. Check out the body 4 life book you can incorporate the bowflex with it.

  • Frank I like your commitment to getting back in to shape with the Bow Flex. One improtant thing to include in your excercise routine is to do some kind of aerobic excersize like swimming, bicyling, running etc. Weight lifting builds muscle, but is a long and slow process towards buring fat. Aerobics are the best and you don't need the machine, but I do think its a great excercise machine. Don't give up. Roy

  • Seriosly Frank, bowflex should really hire you as their true spokesperson and give you free training lessons. You work so hard on that machine and very motivated than most pple that you'd be a perfect candidate for bowflex commercials. Well, keep it up but remember incorporate your exercise routine with diet and cardio workout as well. You've just motivated me even more to really start using my bowflex routinely. Hubby suggest I sell my machine if I ain't going to use it but I told him hell no!

  • Hey Frank. Just found your videos and they are inspiring for us older folk. I am 46, 6' and 247lbs. My wife and I have just bought the BFUH2 and look forward to seeing how we go. Don't give up man!! You can do it!! I suspect that your biggest issue is the diet and that you may not be doing enough core exercises. Keep going and show the world us old guys can get back in shape - Ross

  • frank ur a funny guy don't give up man

  • Hey Girlyman!

Are you here to pump us up or vhat? Seriously, Fletcher and I werent impressed watching you go up those stairs. I felt the pain of your injury before you did, while Fletcher has seen it all before me thinks!

Cardio is the right track though-the vay to pump us up!

  • sorry frank a friend's opinion that has a conflict of interest, like your nurse friend, is not getting educated. he is not a scam artist, but a reporter. the book opened my eyes and changed my life. you want change? think outside the box. just trying to help. my closest friends are skeptics too. again, knowledge is power.

  • Hey Frank,

Everyone who has a few pounds to loose goes through the same mental process you do. What you are trying to accomplish by yourself is impressivew and quite hard to do. You need to remember why you started this journey and renew your vigor.

I expect the bowflex routine has caused some plateau in your body and results will be hard to come by.

Do you do any core or pilates exercises? This will target the area you want to slim and give you a little change.

    I am pulling for ya!

  • frank, you must get educated about food. if you are drinking or eating anything with aspartame, you are poisoning yourself. please read up on this. also high fructose corn syrup is really bad. a book called " natural cures they don't want you to know about" by kevin trudeau tells all. knowledge is power!

  • Hi Sarah, great advice about getting educated about food, however, i wouldn't recommend any information from kevin trudeau. read up on him, he is a major scam artist. its better to get real medical info from real and reliable experts in the medical and nutrition fields, not from a scam artist. Just a friendly reminder from an RN.:)

  • Frank, keep the faith brother! You may not see the difference but I know you must feel the difference! Keep at it, we're all rooting for you! Enjoy the Holidays! You have New Years coming up, round 2!!! 2009 the year of "Ahnold"...

  • Hi Frank, glad to see you haven't given up. Just remember, muscle per given volume weighs twice as much as the same volume fat, so please don't feel too alarmed over your weight. Just take a quick look at your week 0 video and you have definitely come a long ways. I was afraid the stair climbing would put a beating on your lower body. How about an exercise bike? Far less wear & tear on your hips, knees & ankles. Good luck!

  • Hey frank. I gain 5 lbs this week myself. I did the exercise, but holiday food did me in. It is alright, I expect that after the holidays, I will see better results, and you will to. There are online diets that may work for you. I will email them to you, rather then post there names on the board. Anyway, see you next week and don't get discouraged.

  • I think Frank may be suffering from seasonal disorder syndrome. Poor Frank.

  • walk with ur dogs every morning. and lay off the sweets and eat ur greens. (week o to week 34 there is a diffrence) Have a nice christmas and DON'T! give up
