@KennethDoubleU The Wireless Network icon? If that is missing, and you are sure you have a wireless modem, try looking in Device Manger to see if the modem is listed? If it's not listed, you are having a hardware or device driver problem. You could also try going into Control Panel and then Network and Internet and then Network and Sharing Center. See if a problem is listed and try using the troubleshooter.
I have windows 7 laptop (not touch screen).. and my wifi connection suddenly stopped. Now when I click the networks icon at the bottom it says no connections are available but I know I'm around networks....what do I do to get my wifi to work again??
@hizangeloflove try refreshing the available network list. If you still don't find a network, make sure you are in range of a working network and try again. If that doesn't work, try running the network troubleshooting wizard by right-clicking on the network icon (by the clock) and selecting Troubleshoot problems.
you knw when you click change adapter settings and local area connectin and wireless network connection suppose to comes up, i only have local area connection to choose from but i want to connect my router by wireless i dnt knw how else?
i tried the internet connection thing shown here but it keeps giving the same msg that the computer was unabke to form a connection! what is wrong with this??????
im using an msi notebook A4000. windows 7. can u please tell me whats wrong?
Me and my buddy downloaded Windows 7 on our laptop computer and it runs perfectly. We down loaded it from Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) and it installed fine.
the one that you normally click on, the triangle shaped one at the bottom left
